Your video is to say the least awesome!!! The camera pointing at the fret board with an eye view of where your fingers are make it that much easier for people like me to understand just what your doing with your left hand. Just subscribed..

At 5:30, Leslie West actually finishes that lick with an E maj chord. Same thing when it's played off of the A, he hits an A maj chord on the second fret.

Thanx, your right. I haven't loved playing a song this much since I learned " Dance the Night Away " a hundred years ago.

As for me all these angle views at the same time prove quite confusing, but it's a great tutorial anyway. Gives one a lot of space for the "mojo workout". I'll definitely try to put the harmonica in it after I'm done with the guitar part. Thanks mate!

This guy looks an awful lot like Dario Lorina from Zakk Label Society
That third position of Em Pentatonic, I'm still learning the names but, I'm mostly certain that one is A Mixolydian Pentatonic.
Anyways, I'm working on learning this song and I've noticed the intro lick, you wanna sustain and moderately vibrato that last note before sliding all the way down
This was a really great lesson video

You might add that Leslie West more or less invented power chord, single guitar heavy rock.

Showing the fingerings is good. But Leslie West plays these chords and notes with lots of LEGATO, as opposed to your more staccato playing of this song. Your execution of this song hurts my ear. West doesn't choke those chords and notes like you do in your seemingly timid contribution.
Listen to how the guy who does "Shut Up & Play Guitar" plays Mississippi Queen right here on YT. His ear is impeccable. That guy knows what he's doing, and he's one of the best guitar teachers I've ever seen.

I don’t think I have ever heard Mississippi Queen in such a sterile way.
