They’re Northern-Irish Scot.
No reason it can’t be America’s new theme song. The tune to the ‘Star Spangled Banner’ was taken from an English song.
Don’t know why you’d want this as America’s theme song though.

majicebe honestly, this new album of theirs sounds very 80s maybe some 70s rockish! some older songs to me sound rustic like that too. That's why I love Gary and the rest of snow patrol so much! developing a great rustic sound, and great music overall. such talented lads!!!!
Love Snow Patrol!! "RUN" and "Just Say Yes" is one of my favorite songs. And of course, their most popular song, "Chasing Cars".
‘This is your Grace & I don’t know why’. I think singer was inspired by God, themes of Christianity & Positive thinking. This song is helping me go thru crappy times. We gotta keep pressin on, pressin on.

how is this a hard song to stay on tempo? it's a simple pop song, they're just being a bit sloppy.
Sometimes just a simple pop song ends up being difficult especially when using midi tracks .

Boring song, but on the other hand, the audio crew managing the performances on this show need to be shot or at least fired. For years now they've made every band sound completely dead and flat.

Oh my, I love them but this song lacks oomph, it’s like they don’t quite believe the words they’re singing.

The music video is good, there's raw emotion in Gary's eyes...it's good stuff. Live is not always the best.
can't resist adding that they were on James Corden's show last night & that you can see in that video how they loosen up towards the end. lol- I can't have anyone get the impression that Snow Patrol is one of those bands that sounds better on the album when it's actually the opposite! I won't get into everything I've done to see them live but it's been totally worth it.
