    preparation:
    200g mung beans
    2 cotton cloths
    *Tips:*
    1. **Soak the mung beans in water for 12 hours**. Once they start sprouting, they are ready to use.
    2. **Cover with a light-blocking cloth**. This prevents the sprouts from turning red (red sprouts are still edible but less visually appealing).
    3. **Water the sprouts daily**, keeping them moist, but make sure to drain any excess water to prevent root rot.
    4. **You can use any container to grow mung bean sprouts**, but it should be tall to help the sprouts grow longer. If you use a smaller container, use fewer beans.
