    Day 4
Dr. David Kipper - Treated Johnny Depp
Debbie Lloyd - Johnny Depp’s Fmr. Private Nurse
    LUNCH BREAK
Sean Bett - Private Security For Johnny Depp
Actor Johnny Depp is suing ex-wife Amber Heard for $50 million for defamation in connection with Heard’s 2018 Washington Post op-ed, in which she spoke out about being the victim of domestic violence. Heard’s article did not specifically name Depp as her alleged abuser, but according to Depp’s lawsuit, it relied “on the central premise that Ms. Heard was a domestic abuse victim and that Mr. Depp perpetrated domestic violence against her.” Amber Heard is counter-suing Depp for $100 million.
The defamation trial began Monday in Fairfax County Circuit Court in Virginia, with jury selection completing on the same day. There is a possibility of celebrity witnesses testifying, including James Franco and Elon Musk. Tune in to the Law&Crime Network for daily coverage of this high-profile trial.

I worked at a big casino. And Johnny Depp was holding a show there with his band. This was only maybe 4 years ago now. Whenever celebrities would come in, they came in at a certain spot. Park their bus there or whatever and come in that way. Which also happened to be the employee outside break area. Now I’d say 90% of them would have security close it for the day if they were coming in. It was a pain the A to be honest. Because we saw famous people constantly. On the floor, in the restaurants etc. And we treat them as any customer. But not only did he not bother with that, he hung out with the employees and just talked and chilled with them for a good amount of time. Like he was just a regular dude. Now I realize we can’t know someone wholly. Not even people close to us a lot of the time. But certain things like that speak of someone’s character.

Was this May 2019 at The Hard Rock? I was at that concert as a VIP! Got to meet, talk to and have my pic taken with him. It was the most exciting adventure of my life! He was as kind, sincere, genuine and loving as any man could be. He found out I had had breast cancer years ago and he wouldn’t stop hugging me. He whispered inspirational words in my ear where no one else could hear him, then he kissed me on the neck. I love this man with all my being. He is a warm and wonderful, yet tortured soul. I worry about his safety and health very much.

I feel for any man who has to deal with this crap. My ex-girlfriend slammed a wine bottle on my back while I was sleeping. Her reason: She was under the impression that I cheated. She ended up calling the cops and telling them that I was the abuser. Three cops ended up coming over and holding me at gunpoint, bringing me into the station where I spent the next 24 hours. I was finally able to speak to the detective who ended up letting me go after he saw the marks on my skin. Needless to say though, my ex attempted to sue me, which ended up costing me $17,000 in legal fees. The case was finally dismissed, but nearly cost me my entire career and everything that I'd built.

@@roserenee9466 i agree completely. I love Johnny Depp but that is no way to perceive a legal case especially to this degree. I don’t believe he instigated the majority of it but he did certainly play a part- that’s partly why this case has been so difficult. Amber is largely abusive yes and has clearly hurt Johnny more than he hurt her. There’s a lot of past relationships she’s had that further displays that. Amber also shouldn’t have made up the degree of lies that she did- no Johnny didn’t deserve his career to be completely destroyed because he is largely the victim. But that doesn’t excuse his actions and that doesn’t make him 100% innocent. That also doesn’t make Amber 100% guilty

In my case my narcissist ex would do things to make me jealous and it would make me feel bad she would flirt with other men when I would tell her to please stop she would continue doing it, she would text her ex to make me jealous and mad, fights would start (verbal fights I wouldn't let that escalate) and it was always my fault because I couldn't stop being jealous, and she would cry when I would stop contacting her for some minutes because I wanted some minutes of a break from her she would cry and say I don't love her and I couldn't be some minutes without her or she would say I wouldn't love her. Well in the end she was the one that left me I did cried when she left me and said she was doing to me what she didn't wanted me to do to her but she didn't cared about me because she already had found her new toy. Not only is he extremely professional both to his patient and his colleagues (the other doctor JD was ranting about 🤣) , but he maintains a great balance between being kind and authoritative to his patients (addiction can need those boundaries from time to time). He’s good at playing the victim ...VERY GOOD 😂. Just his usual 60 yrs pattern of excusing his own bad behaviour & never taking personal responsibility . His nurse’s testimony highlights this pattern and oft used device & strategy of JD . To keep them sweet ( & ergo , keep medications and drugs flowing his way ) he ramps up the ‘deflect and blame others ‘ for his perpetual inability to stick to the detox regimen . He’s a v smart cookie ....knows exactly how to gaslight and get ppl on side and pretend to be the victim of his own self imposed self destruction . Pathetic ....he acts like a little school boy running to the teacher to tell tales on the others rather than take accountability for his own behaviour . Loves playing “ poor widdle Johnny “ . The judge is right to sustain hearsay, the nurse was being smart by saying “i don’t recall” instead of saying things she wasn’t sure of since it was 8 years ago (btw, she most definitely recalled some of it, but probably was unsure and would rather not tell than perjure herself by recalling wrong), Amber’s lawyer is doing his job by objecting, etc. I know we’re all impatient to see Amber get sentenced, but being annoyed by normal procedure won’t change anything. This is a good trial.

    • @forgetmeplease1414

She was not being smart, she was being obstinate and could face consequences, when she couldn't recall results of drug test she should be forced to find the record. That's vital info. Everyone on here is obsessed with believing JD is innocent when there's audio recording of him saying he kicked her repeadly because she wouldn't shut up. She's not innocent but a drug addict can most certainly become abusive.

It's not " hear say evidence" when the person who is supposed to of said something is sitting in front of you and can be called to the stand to verify or deny what he was said to have said. Hear say is when some one says on the stand they heard something and it can't be verified.

She saw through Johnny's security guy's attempts to sneak info (she can strike it but the jury can't un-hear it) despite his knowledge of court proceedings via his background, and she pointed it out to him twice: "you can't testify if you didn't see it, correct?" and "you can't tell us what he told you, I'm sure you've testified before." The way she described the violence she should have not been able to get around for weeks, and some serious head injuries would have been must with broken nose, which is beyond painful and impossible to hide with makeup, the individual's whole face puffs up due to the fact that our nose is right in the middle of our face and when injured/broken u get massive blood shots in the eyes that lasts for days, puffiness around the eyes and eyelids, massive puffiness around the nose all the way to the cheeks. Some ppl can't even smile due to jaw pain, some can't even chew for 3 days or more and are in constant pain , but as my understanding she went to interviews the next day.
My nose was broken and it wasn't smashed or anything, it got broken due to a hit in my jujitsu class, but I remember the massive pain started about 10 hours later, and the scary part was how puffed up my face got within the first hrs, got worse the next day. I couldn't open my eyes all the way (heavy eyelids) n I could only see 2 blue balls in the pool of redness as my eyes. Even after my nose had healed the puffiness of my face took about a month or more to completely go away. I'm 103lbs over 5'5 tall, not so different with her then weight.

We learnt a lot from her notes! Did that just go over everyone's head? Nevermind that the document they're reading says "plaintiff's" in massive letters so is clearly not for the defense. Obviously she doesn't want to commit perjury if she isn't 100% sure of stuff and has probably been instructed by a lawyer to say "I do not recall" as a matter of course unless it's really specific and something she witnessed 100%, and can remember exactly 8 years later. She's mainly only there to confirm that her notes are accurate, like the guy reviewing the videos on a previous day. Which she does. And the notes tell us plenty. Real life court is really boring at times and just a matter of confirming evidence in a dull, matter of fact way. It's not designed to entertain strangers on the internet.

After all of what Amber has said Johnny did to her, why does she look at him so much?
Someone that would have actually experienced what she said would not only not want to look at him but would also be distraught by being in the same room as him.
She looks entitled, angry/ annoyed practically 85% of the time, and then "distraught" for only 15% of the time for all the trials, which happens to be when she's up there giving her testimony, which is in perfect view of the jury.
To me... this case should already be over.

they can’t use hearsay, they’re witnesses they have to speak about things they personally witnessed. And Amber’s lawyer is doing his job at intercepting those by objecting because he’s paid to protect that evil witch, and knows that those answers wouldn’t be good for her case!

This isn't really about the judge: if you notice, when Amber's witnesses are in the stand, Johnny's lawyers rarely object while when Johnny's witnesses are on the stand, Amber's lawyers object A LOT. A judge has more limits to their job than public people realize. A judge's job does the following:
1.) Keeps order in the court
2.) Intervenes and objects when there is misconduct, malpractice, perjury, and other unlawful actions taken in the court
3.) Judges whether or not an objection is LAWFULLY justified and weighs the decision on whether or not to allow someone to proceed or not. If an objection is NOT lawfully justified, then the judge will ask the attorney to continue asking their question or have the witness continue their answer. However, if an objection IS lawfully justified, then a judge weighs whether the attorney's question or witness's answer is relevant or allows the attorney the chance to explain why they should resume the question. If the reason is justifiable or if the judge is curious enough, they will allow the question and answer to be stated. If not, then the judge will abide by the fact that the objection was legally justifiable, and the other attorney MUST proceed to the next question and cannot ask the one they were attempting to ask.
4.) Both the judge and jury must listen to, take notes, and make judgments based on the lawyers' questions and the witnesses' testimonies.
5.) While a judge usually upholds the jury's decision, it is the judge who makes the absolute and final decision.
Those are the judge's job tasks. This means that the only way for the judge to intervene in the case itself (disregarding if things go wrong in a court room, so I mean just the case itself) is IF and WHEN a lawyer objects. THAT'S why it looks like the judge is biased. She's not. She's actually been pretty fair. In fact, she's said many "I'll allow it"s than Amber's team would probably like to hear. In addition, a judge in the US is taught to have a leniency on the defendant side because of "innocent until proven guilty," and the fact that if they are found guilty, it may be the last respect they receive. This does not mean that a judge will favor the defendants, but rather need to make sure a fair trial is played out to show that the defendant is guilty without a shadow of a doubt. The real fact is that Amber's team is making so many objections that Judge Penney Azcarye has to verify if they have grounds for an objection (and Mr. Rottenberg, Amber's male lawyer, seems to be very smart at finding actual causes for objections and is using them to Amber's convenience, such as when Bett took the stand and was asked about Johnny's drinking, Bett confirmed, but Rottenberg objected on grounds of heresy and lack of expertise when asked about Amber's drinking. Azcarye approved his objection because it was lawful and reasonable and she saw no good logical reason to allow the question, not because she thought it was suddenly fair because, honestly, Rottenberg could've objected to the question about Johnny's drinking, but conveniently chose not to, so the judge had no choice but to listen, just an example) and if there are grounds for an objection, Azcarye has to decide if there are valid enough reasons to allow the questions and answers. She has less decision making in this than you may realize. The reason many witnesses' statements on Johnny's side aren't being stated or are being striked is because Amber's team keeps objecting and they're coming up with lawfully valid reasons to object. Sadly, Johnny's lawyers have not been objecting as much to Amber's witnesses, which gives Amber's side more freedom to speak. Don't blame the judge, blame the lawyers!
