I really love the S.W.A.T. series. They convey incredibly strong feelings over comparatively short scenes with an adequate to moderate amount of speech. The few said sentences in every scene contain a lot more message than in many other movies/series. The writer's really good, and the actors anyway. I deeply admire Lina's display of Chris' breakdown here. It takes a lot of acting skills to portrey this. This scene (the first one) had me in tears, which happens quite easily to be honest, but also with a pounding heart, breaking a sweat and desiring nothing more than to be there for Chris in that moment, which almost never happens when I see fictional movies/series. I love the S.W.A.T. series for portraying their characters authentically and not melodramatically. Thank you for this series to the writer and to the actors (and to everyone else involved)!

She was so hyped up by Chris in her story arc, then magically disappeared for so long, and when she actually showed her skills which was insanely good, main squad worthy, but bam. She's already gone the moment she finally returned on screen. Unfortunate.
Lucus is a 3 Generation Swat officer and probably have had a lot of relationship training from his dad and granddad that’s why he can relate to each of his team in a way that give them what they need collectively as well as individually.
What Chris went through is the HARDEST thing for everybody to go through as it happened to me when I was in the Army as I lost a friend who was in my unit but in a different role during Desert Storm! It is hard and no amount of time can or replace the pain one goes through!
This was so depressing to see. What made it sadder was that it could've easily been Deacon, Street or Chris that could've gotten shot. Like what if Deacon wasn't off that day. It could've been an entirely different situation. I watched this the moment I woke up and then I was just kinda sad throughout the rest of the day.
I'm surprised by that it was a great scene too. It proved what I have known all along Street does not love Molly. And it's not going to end well considering who Molly is

But first thing that should have been done was expose the wound and then apply preasure. Doing CPR without any occlusive dressing or attempted to stop the bleeding just pumps the blood out faster. Also, it's not the EMT's job to declare the patient dead so early in any resuscitative attempts.
The biggest threat to her was probably pericardial tamponade or tension hemothorax/pneumothorax, both of which can be alleviated with the respective correct cheast tubes.

the absolute stupidity of this episode is thinking that politicians are actually leaders when they are not, they are representatives of the people's will.
@@alexbebebona8688 watch the full episode and you will understand spoilers below in the last episode, the team tracks down and gets into a gun fight eventually killing one of the imperial dukes they were after. in that episode erica is standing in for deacon and she is hit and killed. in this episode because of erica getting killed, the FID (Force Investigation Division) starts an investigation into why this happened and eventually clears the whole team of any wrong doing but the mayor sticks their nose into it saying that someone has to resign because of erica being killed who just happens to be one of the few females on swat and a black female to add to it. now this may sound racist but that was in the episode, the mayor was pressuring someone from swat to resign because a black female swat officer was killed. so the mayor was making this completely political because it was an eleiction year. the commander says they will resign but hondo says he will and forces the mayor to back off.
