Theres a lot of videos on this site that show helmet cam footage from firefighters and body cam footage from cops. This show is a tad unrealistic but still cool, I reccomend watching real cam footage its much more intense

Fbi has a HRT that does use explosives on that level, but they are considered a higher tier team. Some swat units use lower explosives to breach doors but they don’t light up and they use a wire. I always chock it up to comic book Stule logic were in this reality ( this show) the explosives Could Be advanced enough that they literally blow up primarily in the direction of the door and make some nifty holes or shapes in the doors structure by doing so And are probably safer than and smaller than most modern breach charges and more stylish. Who knows probably dont even have to back to far away from it like the usual charges xD

He'd have lost some hair and gotten a scar or two at most, but crossing that was easy. Then again; they could have (and should have) just shot the dude right there and then. He was well-known to be armed and dangerous, had commited premeditated murder and was firing on officers. Half the cops I know (let alone anyone in special branches) would have gunned him down before the lighter hit the floor.

If they were wearing ghost mesh masks and dye masks that would be hilarious

That’s what I was thinking to and with the buildings being so close together they need to be worried about exposures And I was thinking why do none of them have their hoods on them or gloves and in a previous scene when they were responding to a dumpster fire no one had their SCBA on and they wanted to use a hand line, and they also wanted to open a side door to it
These people who are swat swat members are mostly and by mostly I mean entirely prior or well trained service these guys are clearing rooms like they are playing airsoft and nothing rly matters

The art style rifles are accurate enough at those distances that it wouldn’t make much of a difference! The mp style would be a bit risky though
