They take down those mafia guys armed with automatic weapons with less lethal shotguns, Hondo saved Tony by jumping in the pool wearing full gear and weapons, and Chris apprehended the crime boss twice her size in one awesome short chase and tackle. They are a great SWAT team probably the best in LA in the show.
I was thinking a safety cause she’s a little small for a linebacker but she’s just about the right size for a safety and she’s got the speed to match I ALMOST feel bad for the bad guys cause running is just as successful as shooting at the swat team
I don't know about other countries but in my country (the Netherlands) you learn how to stay afloat in swimming class without using your hands. So unless his feet were tied (which they weren't) it should be possible. But like ya pointed out even if they were tied up a home pool usually isn't that deep so you should be able to jump back to the surface easily

Sure, it's a TV show, and in real life, nobody is like, John Wick, but some people are actually REALLY good shooters. Moreover, these guys are SWAT. Putting aside the fact that a lot of SWAT members have military backgrounds, they train hard dude. Nobody's a superhero, but the marksmanship in this scene is not beyond reality.
Ikr, that should be easy, the actual way they do it is tie their feet and legs, that’s when it’s risky, but if you have your feet, you should be fine. Not realistic.

I think that is because it’s in a settings where hostages are gathered with targets. Non-lethal rounds would reduce the damage if a civilian is somehow hit.
Dont use this show as representation for what SWAT/SERT Teams do, most teams are not full-time and none of them see this much action and have this level of technology.
Try swimming with your hands tied and tell me how easy it is if any thing he should to bounce up towards the surface of the water get a breath and repeat the process until they can get him out the most important thing he can do is not panic witch is easier said than done when your zip tied and tossed in water
