Thanks sor to teach us👍👍👍👍
really great video explaining the technique
Tyron, many thanks and glad it has helped you. There are other videos on the channel about how to improve and develop your take-off, so do take a look at those.
Coach, I just learned I will be taking our high school long and triple jumpers this season. What should I focus on - first practice; first week?
Thanks
Tapan Khatonier I had watch ur video
I’m new to watching your videos and I like them very much. What is the purpose of the run drill witch hands on hips or holding a bar overhead?
How cheak power in long jump
sir just before jump my steps get smaller and smaller...what should I do?
Try putting some lines on the run-up to mark the last three steps - working back from the board, place one at 2.00m back, then another 2.40m and another for the third at 2,30 .. this is an approximate guide to stride lengths for the final three steps to the take-off ... much will depend on your height and speed, but try to run through the last steps making those lines. The take-off strep should be shorter than the others with the second last often slightly longer. Probably more important is to work on your sprinting and work on heel recovery and pulling the foot from the back of the body to the front and over the knee as you do so. There are plenty of videos on the channel which should help you. Good luck.
@@Johnshepherdtrackcoach thank you very much sir

Yes
Hello sir
How to increase height??
If you mean take-off height for the long jump, it's a mix of specific power training and technique work - take a look at this video: ruclips.net/video/us6FWfrt7kc/видео.html God luck!
