I was using this guy all day on nightmare and screaming curses words by myself. On Blademaster, it says "Permanetly gain 10% attack speed" I'm assuming this is a one time increase. I thought earlier today I was supposed to get 10% each usage. After typing it out, I see why I couldn't tell the difference haha. Also: I kept getting shyt rolls and wanted to hear your thoughts on mermaid tears for this guy and rampart? EDIT: Also, I've been meaning to ask this. IF you die using Baba Yaga's would it still remove all your orbs from hope?
Haha yeah just the 10% and up to 16% at legendary, really good attack speed when paired with 4x ace of spades. And mermaid tears is normally a pretty low priority take for me, one or two of them with a well timed shield block with rampart can lead to a full heal though which is cool. This challenge in particular makes rampart a lot better though because the damage healed is based off the damage you would have taken and with the "berserker foes" and "corruption" modifier enemies were alwaying doing a lot. And no if you die with Baba Yaga's it doesn't trigger as a death, the game codes it as an instant full heal then crosses out the item
@@positive4ce Ah! Okay, I thought there must be something with the Yaga and that. It just sort of made sense. It's kind of funny because you got 0 lives anyways. Are you able to purchase lives still and are you just against that? EDIT: Also, I sent them an email and hopefully they do the right thing!
@@ItIsYouAreNotYourThe feather is just replaced by experience in this challenge, baba yaga is the only thing that gives you a "second life" so very useful in these runs!
A first try on the "weakest" character in the game is mighty respectful. It's crazy how many hits Beowulf can take and still walk away with it relatively fine, even without the fountains and cut healing. Keep up the great content! I've been learning the game a lot as a new player from your videos, man!
That's awesome, glad to hear they're helping out! And yeah was not looing forward to this run but the healing from rampart really was huge for his overall survivability
Anyone know how he got that immunity frame at 33:04 when he is locked into his Triange ability (power?). Starting to understand all the I frames on the Defense but still don't get that one. ty
@@silverbolt6699 Yeah I use the shield to block the first two swipes and then on the crabs dash I use Beowulfs special which has I-frames at the very beginning of the spin to dodge the dash attack
@@LifezAGame yeah explosive fire, furnace, and firey siesmo for ignite are good choices. Really helps in the ghoul and bird camps for quick clears. Also taking vorpal blade as a legendary is really nice for explosive fire
congrats beating the challenge! Invigorating death, corruption, oppressive nightmare, angry birds, and inflation. thats a crazy set of mods and imo harder than that one you showed, cause you can "fix" disease with just one Queen of Hearts
Thanks! Yeah I could see that, I think one of the hardest modifiers when combined with corruption and berserker foes is the one that heals nearby enemies when you kill an enemy, it makes the early game take so long and you can never really pick up momentum
@@positive4ce yea! that's invigorating death. Its a crazy modifier to pair with corruption, early game almost feels impossible, especially in the ghoul camps with a character without good AoE
@@matheussetinacio7910 mainly for the extra dreamshard bonus. Golden egg is now a good item as a late game take after you’ve spent a lot of money if your other options are bad but before 1.0 is was amazing to pair with dream catcher and just buy all your talent upgrades and stack a bunch of damage in chapter 2 and 3
Haha sadly no Passtech didn't reach out to me about it. I do have a vacation coming up in October and was thinking about messaging them before they announced the release date cause I was thinking I'd be gone during launch but everything worked out
@@ItIsYouAreNotYour 26th and yeah not really sure if they sent review copies out with this or not as it was reviewed by most publications at the launch of early access, it is a completely different game though so I hope they did
Gratz on completing the challenge! And glad to see the "stop hitting yourself"-build just murdering all those super tough enemies in C3, always satisfying. GL with the Aladdin run and 1.0!
It really was that build, honestly felt like my shield was the only thing that was able to good damage in chapter 3. And yeah hopefully I can get a moring stream with 1.0 showing off the first runs!
Yeah gonna give Aladdin a shot as nobody has a recorded completion with him, I don't think I'm going to be trying it with everyone though, after this I need a break lol
