I love how Caimar takes elements from Sekiro, from how he summons a wolf and turns into an owl, to how one of his lunge attacks are taken from Genichiro’s third phase.
Caimar Is so sick. I saw sekiro movesets (spear adept, lady butterfly, Genichiro) and I also saw some of Morgott and Gundyr kick too. When you combine so many movesets like this, it truly feels like a completely new boss.
Damn they really combined so many enemies movesets. Like i can see spear adepts, senpou spear (or staff) monks, poison lone shadow, lady butterfly, genichiro, owl, gundyr movesets Devs really did great job
People used to hate on DS3 Convergence for using movesets from other games. It got me thinking "what are they going to do instead?" I think that new movesets may be good but definitely not better than comparing certified good moves from certified good enemies. It can't go wrong. Also, animate new moves must be a pain in the ass due to Ds and ER having their engine. I thought DS3 Convergence was NUTS. I think ER Convergence is NUTS. And I for sure hope Bloodborne gets a Convergence if it comes to PC.
What I love about convergence over GOE is 1: they take a mix of moveset instead of just one bosses moveset and adding flashy effects 2: the bosses are interesting and original ideas instead of trying to turn the game into Bloodborne 3: you don’t have to pay for it.
@rysspace2511 What aspects about GOE do you love over Convergence? PS I don't know if things changed but I'm almost on my 3rd month of GOE which I canceled the subscription less than a week after buying into it but, I still am able to launch GOE even tho I only ever paid that fee $5 once.
Archdruid Caimar from DS3 Convergence was my favourite new boss they added back then. Seeing him here is a big surprise. Can't play ER Convergence now so I wonder what are the lore implications for Caimar being here🤔
Caimar feels super appropriate for ER, can totally imagine him as a high ranking warrior sage of the ancestral followers 😮 and is that A NAGAMAKI in the Einar fight?
Even if he is mostly re-themed Archdruid from the DS3 version of the mod, the Archdruid was one of the better boss designs from the mod, and this reskin was done really well, so it's all good
Goras is what runebears should've been. A resource-efficient boss that reuses a model with some tweaks and added vfx that give him some personality/theming instead of a simple copypaste.
Thank you for making this video and showcasing the amazing bosses! I will say the colossal weapons you used did block the view of the bosses sometimes, but you did such a thorough job showing them off that it was only an occasional obstacle.
I love that the 5th and 6th boss have moves from Sekiro. The 5th one using moves from both Owl and Lady Butterfly and the 6th using moves from one of the Seven Spears side bosses. God I've played too much sekiro
Giving the Leonine Misbegotten a name and a title is such a small, yet super meaningful change. It's a nice reminder that as ugly and creepy as the Misbegotten are, they aren't just mindless monsters and are still people.
Dyru is such a good replacement for the leonine misbegotten, not only does it have a sick new texture, but it has the mixed move set of hourah loux, father gascoigne, beast possessed soul, beastman of farum azula, and leonine misbegotten. It takes the fight from being the place you go to JUST to get the legendary armaments trophy, to a place you go to for a memorable boss battle.
I appreciate you actually giving the bosses time to do their attacks and showcase everything they have instead of just killing them quickly like other youtubers
These new bosses added to this mod are interesting. Dryu I think replaces that Leonine Misbegotten boss. But I love how it's used better. Tearna I think is just one of those Nox beings that has night or shadow magic. She looks cool. The Mimic Tear fight love how you put it as "Cell the Gamer." Then we have the bear fight. Love the concept of it. Then what surprised me was that Caimar from the Dark Souls 3 Convergence Mod came back but as Spiritshaper Caimar instead and his moveset looks even better. Then finally Einar. I sense a bit of Phantom Godfrey and those Commanders in his moveset. But I love the ice mechanics he does.
I have an idea for a boss for the dlc I was thinking the black knight commander Andreas as a boss. Weapons: he uses a large dwarven great hammer that is black with gold linings, he has a war banner on his back that he uses as a spear that he can use to buff his attacks, a crossbow/mini ballista that works as a canon at long range. Abilities: he can switch to his spear/ear banner mid combo to confuse the player, can infuse his great hammer so when he does an overhead swing it deployed an explosion on contact with the ground, he can charge himself with lightning the same way commander Niel does except it not only buffs him but also summons lighting storms, and a war cry. Moveset: Godfrey’s and armoured warrior’s combos commander Niel’s move set when war banner is equipped and tree sentineled move set (first phase only) first phase: he rides on horseback whilst using his crossbow/canon and swings dealing large amounts of damage with his great hammer. Second phase: only when the horse is killed he will jump off and use the rallying standard then will engage with melee attacks and buffs his weapons (he cannot use his war banner as a weapon in his second phase) third phase: he buffs himself with lightning and summons lighting storms, he can now switch to his warbanner/spear mid combo, can infuse his weapon mid combo. Areana: a massive battleground in a castle courtyard with weapons and skeletal remains scattered all over the place with banners and spears sticking out of the ground. Hope you like my idea if it’s too hard or you don’t like it then don’t do it any way hope you have a good day

I really hope they continue this trend of adding more and more bosses to the Elden Ring Convergence mod. It makes the mod so much more dynamic and keeps me coming back with every new patch of content.

Pretty cool my only gripe is he's called the spiritshaper and he turns into a 1 small wolf, a bird, and a shoot a butterfly!? Could have done soooo much more with that.

I still think it could have been a lot cooler you got a lions direwolves crabs lobsters horses small medium and large Misbegotten dragons. None of which I could do myself so I'm not throwing shade. There is an int katana build. Use Moonveil, Meteoric Oreblade, or Star Shadow. moonveil is the best for pure int and pure magic damage, Meteoric for physical damage, and then the Starshadow is good with faith and int scaling

No. Dyru has 1 Beastman move, and is mostly leonine in phase 1. In phase 2 he is mostly Father Gascoigne phase 2, with a bit of Hoarah Loux. Caimar is ENTIRELY different from his DS3 iteration. Rhys uses some of the dismounted nights Cavalry, and some from the Seven Spears of Ashina in Sekiro. And then Einar uses some Millwood Chieften from DS3, some Godfrey, and then he has 1 move from Niall, and 1 move from the Seven Ashina Spears

mainly spear adepts from sekiro + a lot of animations from other sekiro eneimes like lady butterfly, owl, genichiro, lone shadows, and the bird uses animations from stormhawks and i think owl father

Dyru goes from farum beastman moveset to Godfrey phase 2. Tearna has like player moveset with those spells. Goras is just a rune bear with extra step. Spiritshaper is just the druid from the da3 convergence mod with a paint job. Rhys remind me of comander O'Neil but I can't be sure. Einar has yellow ghost Godfrey moveset
No. Dyru has 1 Beastman move, and is mostly leonine in phase 1. In phase 2 he is mostly Father Gascoigne phase 2, with a bit of Hoarah Loux. Caimar is ENTIRELY different from his DS3 iteration. Rhys uses some of the dismounted nights Cavalry, and some from the Seven Spears of Ashina in Sekiro. And then Einar uses some Millwood Chieften from DS3, some Godfrey, and then he has 1 move from Niall, and 1 move from the Seven Ashina Spears
