This run was done in an older version of the convergence mod and prior to the DLC's release, so there is no DLC content in this video.
Don't worry though, the finale will include the DLC and will most likely be a massive video!

How stable is convergence with the DLC?

Don't exist no more since physical damage buffs, spell boosting armour sets and catalyst boosters already exist in the mod
@@snuppetdid you check in the dlc? I don’t play on pc so I have no idea if convergence is updated for it. What replaces it if it doesn’t exist?
@@JohnDarkSouls895 Yeah, already done a couple runs with the dlc and convergence, nothing replaces it, its simply removed because it ruins the balance of the stormcaller class and likewise with the talisman of the dread and the volcanist class
@@snuppet makes sense. It’s unfortunate they didn’t find a way to balance it or make a replacement a divine beast weapon would’ve been awesome

I’m sure this class was made to be used alongside a melee weapon like a spellblade of sort. The sleep class was pretty similar iirc.
But it faith/int class, its hard to add weapon here
@@funguy398 Yeah that’s what I was thinking too. Have no idea what weapon you’d use that’d work well with it because of the stat spread. Maybe the mod adds one? I’m not sure
@@Alenbh4g The mod adds the Zephyr Blades which are probably the strongest curved swords in the game and they scale mainly from int and faith
Y'all gotta remember that scaling is heavily changed in convergence, so all the stormcaller weapons will scale pretty much exclusively off faith and int, no dex or strength required for most of the weapons. The Devs did this so when playing the mod, you won't run into pretty much the exact issue you brought up.

I really want a dragon communist class sooo much like add in minycommunion incants and new dragons like blood or madness dragon.
DS3 Convergence Storm Class had a spell called Storm of Swords that was kinda like six storm Glintblades and it was so dope I wish this one had that
I’ve been playing around with Convergence and I see some nice synergy with Nox Oracle and Stormcaller, as poise/stancebreak critical hits are devastating

This class is really cool, I just hope they add some wind bosses to drop the runes in the future
I love this one, there's a spell that allows you to run while casting other spells and incantations. I hope you use it in the next vid!

When I did convergence i ended up doing an entire build around the spells similar to Air Tax. The amount of health that just melted from bosses from just Air Tax and Quicksilver Mist (I think thats what it was called) was ridiculous.
Convergence mod additions are really cool, but I think the mod team is just not that good at balancing. The DS3 convergence is similar in that you had somewhat easy access to ridiculous spells that basically won the entire game for you.
The mod IS still in beta right now and they never finished the DS3 mod because Elden Ring came out.
Balance is low on the priority list atm and is kinda being worked on over time.
They are so incredibly incompetent at balancing. I hope they figure it out eventually, because there are some truly great ideas here.
This is a kickass build idea and it really should’ve been in the base game. Only downside is the fact that’s it’s split INT/FTH.
