Yes the ROC mining is broken with new inventory system Looting is a little better cause you can bring a box in. They should set it up so the ROC can be sold directly from it to the vendor and skip the whole box and elevator part.
Ok. 1st) If you Left Shift & Left Click Should auto move items over between inventories. 2nd) If you store the ROC at the Outpost's Platinum Bay Pads (Call ATC) you might be able to sell from Stored vehicle [ROC]
Beautiful! Expose all the problems bugging this release. I did not even try after all the videos going wildly out. We need more of this so CIG understands that they are fucking up the game. This new inventory system is pure garbage, not because of it purpose but how it got implemented ... pretty bad
Yeah, this is kind of a confusing mess isn't it. I appreciate what CIG is trying to do with physicalized stuff, but I hope they take into consideration how convoluted and frustrating this is.
SC has always had _major_ problems with objects within objects. The StarEngine's basic design on the most fundamental level can't handle this. If StarEngine would have dreams, those would surely be nightmares about those Russian stacking dolls (called _Matrjoshka_ or sth)... :) You can't fix the problems with your game engine on the lowest, arcihtecture level without destroying your entire game in the process and building in it up again from scratch. Which is impossible now as the players are already in the game. Obviously. So, they're now stuck. All they have managed to do is to try to build clever mechanisms to bypass the basic architecture of their own engine. Basicly trying to fool it into doing what it can't do. As a result the game sometimes can't handle or even recognize objects within objects. Sometimes it works sometimes it won't. The game didn't recognize the ROC within your C2, that was the problem. Whenever software gets confused like this, the best strategy it to try to simplify the situation as much as possible. Transfer the gems to the ship storage and move ROC out of the ship so it's only C2 and it's storage, nothing else. That's the best chance to get it working again after it had bugged out on you. What a headache, I'm grateful I only have a Prospector instead a ROC. Also I really "love" being in an armistice zone and getting my ship destroyed by npc. By the way, you mined 14 centiSCU not 14 SCU. So, you only needed a 1 SCU box (14 cSCU => 0.14 SCU)
Only thing I can think of, that wasn't tried, was it being in the back pack, either at the terminal or in the inventory hanger inventory... but when you were at the terminal it didn't even see that!?? Otherwise, I think you tried everything BUT throwing it at the commodity trader in frustration. Guess I know what I'm doing in PTU early this week... I love ROC'ing... and a few of my youngest org mates (in game, not in reality) make their money when solo is hand mining since they are so new they only have the starters. Best way to make money solo while not working with someone else. Heck, one guy refused help, and went from an aurora to a cutty black and roc by ONLY hand mining. Appreciate your time sink on this.

If you want the hadanite into a box, you would need a backpack to work as step btwn roc inventory and box inventory (annoying af i know)
