- In this video I share how I do a quick clean of my bike. I try to do this after each ride. I also address a couple issues that I've had with SRAM AXS so far on my new 2022 Stumpjumper.

This looks to me like a b gap issue to me. The B gap screw determines the distance between your cassette and the derailleur guide pulley. That screw can back off on a newer bikes and cause these weird issues. I always apply some threadlocker in addition to the factory one to keep it in place. If you don't have the little white plastic tool to fix it, you can take it to the bike shop and it is a 30 second job.
Thank you for the tips!
Take off the battery while spraying the bike! Use the red cover given by sram
after you clean your bike spray your down tube and cassette with silicone to prevent dirt sticking
you can adjust the position of the gear knob on axs and move it away from the grip..
It's common not to be able to replicate a shifting issue on the bike stand because the drivetrain is not under any load and will behave differently
yeah that's what I also figure, rats
I have my XX1 axis for 10 months now and never an issue. Now for the location of the Axis paddle, you need to move the out more so that they are out side of the grips. Also the brake lever needs to be align with the grip inner end. Something looks odd :(. At least that how I seen everyone’s and myself included run the brake levers and the axis dropper post and axis shifter is. Even with small hands when shifting just move (slide) your hand over. If that makes sense.
Very true! I make myself think I need to have my hands in the same grip position constantly, but I'll move em out and see how it goes :)
You can convert back to the original shift lever. It will not touch your grip. The one on your bike is the upgrade to make it feel more like a regular shifter.
I didn't know that! :P Thanks!
Could be a trim adjustment would help shifting but I would check rear derailleur hanger alignment at the shop.
yup hoping it's just an adjustment ultimately, will definitely be looking into it - continues to have some issues, but not as bad these last few rides
