Great video. I didn’t know fiberglass was available in strands that way. I have only seen the sheets like with the silk wrap. I’m going to try this on my daughter as she loves gel nails. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for this video! My mom and sister have brittle nails that are difficult to put forms or tips on. I think this fiberglass might be a good option!
Does it require as much buildup as acrylic for the apex? It looked more natural than acrylic. Do you think it will be more structurally sound? It looks beautiful. Thank you so much, Karen 💖
I got the strands from a nail company and it wasn’t bad but when I removed them my hands were itchy from the little fiberglass particles. Now I have 15 meters of product wasted. 🤭 I’ll stick with acrylic and gel.
Once again thank you for sharing your knowledge! Can I ask where you get the cone shaped bit you used? I have some cone diamond cone bits but a few years ago I had a little larger cone and unable to find larger ones, yours seemed to be bigger than what I currently have! Love bits! I'm always buying bits! 💗
I love this idea. I have all the products needed but whenever I've tried it it was on a fake hand and it didn't work out well. Think I'll just have to try it on an actual person. Every video I see makes it look so easy.
Hello! Ok, I have the fiberglass, the clips, the brush, the fingers, the anxiety (as I am going to try this on myself). I probably should do a practice run on a fake nail huh? My big HUGE question is this. I only have "builder gel), which in contrast to yours seems... Runnier? So I don't think its hard gel. Trust me I wish I knew for sure. So, can I do this with "soft" gel? I can't afford hard gel right now (and its driving me crazy as I have to order everything online since I live in a tiny village and it takes forever and a day (months) to get my stuff IF it ever gets here. I would really appreciate if you could enlighten me. Thank you so much ❤🐞
I saw the other video first. I was wondering. ... Did you get heat spikes with this fiberglass? Or is that a way to know if its cosmetic grade? I just did 1 nail... I couldnt stand the heat spike.
Cristy, you can really get heat spikes from the fiberglass itself, only from the product (gel / base). I didn't get heat spikes with this one as I used NSI BB Cover pink gel
My preferred product for extensions in my nails. Never come off 🙏🏽 ❤
I love the shape of the nail you made. Fiber glass looks very tricky, but you explained it very well. Beautiful as always

Fiberglass makes me nervous so I think I will stick with silk wrap. Very beautiful outcome. I love the color.
Wow.. It's Beautyfull ❤️♥️❤️

I noticed that nail technicians from Brazil make them much thinner, but I did build the apes as usual :)
I love this way with the fiberglass.

You have to wear gloves
Well done! I'll pass on trying these. TFS👍💖
Hi I love your videos I have fiber glass on my nail now with builder gel how to refill with the builder gel?
Thank you. Loved the video.
It does look very pretty, but a lot of work :o
Such an awesome job.
Thank you! Cheers!
Thank you so much for another great video😍👍
Tfs💖
That's neat tfs💜💖💜
I have curved nail beds, so dual forms and press on nails don't work for me. Would fiberglass be a better option for me
How can you pinch when there’s already fully cured gel? Wouldn’t it crack?
It depends on the gel and layer - if it's still thin - usually you can :)
But it's better to cure 10-15 seconds, pinch and cure for the remaining time

Tfs. Very informative. I'm also going to see if you have a video on removing the fiberglass nails.
I’m going to try these for fun on my training hand x

As long as it is a builder gel it should be fine. You layer will just have to be thin or you flash cure it as you’re working on them.
@@gloriafox6466 thank you so much! You are a doll! Gonna try and work the courage up to do this lol! Be blessed! ❤
THIS SEEMS LIKE IT TAKES LONGER THAN THE OTHER STYLES.
YES I AGREE!!!!
lol
That had to have been wayyyyy easier than when u did it on yourself 😉
Oh yes 😄\
Could you please show how to REmove them? without having them stuck in your skin, that is the real problem about fiberglass strands... nightmare..

I did.
Thank you for this video! Where can I purchase good quality products for this?
I did the fiberglass, it was hard. It got easier once I cut the fiberglass in half because they pop up.
What a mess too much to do. Loved using the fiberglass silk ..
Hi Anastasia! Can I send a sample of my cosmetic grade fiberglass? Loved your video❤️
This seems like such a hassle to be honest. What are the benefits?
For those who are struggling with form fit it is another way to do extensions
for bitten nails - when it is hard to fit the form
None benefit you can do ot with silk wrap fabric for nails. Same result.
What do you wet the brush with before you apply the gel ?
Do you need a uv light for fiberglass?
For fibreglass itself -no, but if you're also using gel - yes
Please hiw long they stay ?
What exact used on fiber glass
i am currently in Brazil and got this technique down here and now I am thinking when i return to the USA how can i get my fills done... sigh
What is that pink thing that you put on the fiber glass? I don't really know much about nails 🙄
It's hard gel :)
