We print our parts with X1 Carbon on daily basis. As Maker Muse mentioned, and I can confirm, most FDM 3D printer companies will have to adopt to new technologies and designs, or die.
This must be a joke. We have bought an S5 for our company 4 years ago. And after 4 years time you come up with this? I mean, first you fail to show up at the formnext trade show with something new and now this. I feel really sorry for the R&D people but this smells like another company is screwed by management without strategy, passion or foresight.
Knock 75% off the purchase price and I might buy it…
the only reason someone would buy this is that they don't know any better.
Paying extra $3500 for a flexi bed and filter + fan, compared to the already overpriced S5 ?

oh... so no improvment at all from Ultimaker 3.... god... Bambu will make fun of this.
Ultimaker is the worst printer in its price range. The results are subterraneously bad. The speed is more than just slow and structurally it is also poor. The fact that the print head wobbles makes ghosting a big problem.
Our company regrets buying an ultimaker and we can only advise anyone against supporting this company. it's a rip-off.
I would hit this machine if it wasn’t so expensive. I think the quality that this machine produces is very close to the quality a lot of other much cheaper machines produce. So why the huge price gap? If you are making 10,000 of these, can’t you get the costs down ??
Ultimaker put out the S5, then Bambu put out the X1 Carbon. Ultimaker put out the S7, and it's said their printers are for professionals, so Bambu Killed them with X1E. Ultimaker is all but dead.
