Great tutorial, helps me get a better grip on this. When a blueprint or design that you choose has multiple colors in it, does the software prompt you or let you know when/how to switch the filament?
Thank you for watching! So if you are printing a model that has multiple colors shown on one file you have 3 options
1. Multi filament printers have software that allows you to choose specific ares for specific colors
2. If you have a single filament printer, there is a setting in cura slicer where you can program the printer to stop at a certain layer for a filament swap (only for entire layer stops, not specific coordinates)
3. Use Meshmixer to split the model into different pieces to print separately than attach.
Sorry for the lengthy response, but that’s pretty much the only way to go about printing 1 model in different colors.
I would like to know if all 3D printers are capable of printing colored objects. or should I purchase colored filament?

@@Meshalalshehri-p6w yes the color of the filament is the color that the object will be, if you’d like something to be a different color, get a different color filament
Also, there are multicolored filaments that can print different colors at once, and multi filament printers, but those run up to $1,600.

Nice video dude what 3d printer did you use for your cosplay helmets i am new to it all and would like to learn about it and get a 3d printer.I like your mandalorian helmet looks so cool 👌 i would spend around 800 for a 3d printer
@@Creasy12336 thank you very much I appreciate your support. For that price, you could definitely start with something like an elegoo Neptune 4 max which has the largest build volume, creality k1 max which is a large build volume and prints even faster, or an Anycubic Kobra 2 max.
