Kevin Conroy (Batman Beyond, Justice League) joins me this week to share how he’s battled with anxiety throughout his life, stemming from a harsh upbringing in a combative household that no child should be raised in. Kevin goes on to talk about his different family dynamics and the impact that his abusive, alcoholic father had on his future. We also get into Kevin’s evolution in acting from Juilliard to Batman, his experience living with the one and only Robin Williams, and his thoughts on Batman reprisals in Crisis on Infinite Earths.

I heard Mr. Conroy discussed this story (And other riveting stories from Juilliard and his time on stage) in Kevin Smith's podcast awhile back. Will never get tired of hearing Kevin Conroy discuss theater and the craft of acting
There are few voices I'm genuinely jealous of...
Michael Ironside's, James Earl Jones' & of course Kevin Conroy's.
"Gentlemen, gentlemen, please! This is the theater!" 😜
"YOU CAN'T FIGHT IN HERE, THIS IS THE WAR ROOM!!"
This is an incredible story from this wonderful interview. You know it's theatre when a fight is started on stage with someone who is vengeance, the night, and most of all Batman.
Who is Brian, you ask? It's Brian Bedford, an English stage actor who died of cancer in 2016. Most famous to people like us as the voice of Disney's 1973 Robin Hood where Robin Hood is a (fantastic) fox. That was my favorite cartoon as a kid, after Voltron.
Are we supposed to magically know who Brian is? I know the play he's talking about. I saw Lumet's version with Michael Caine and Christopher Reeve. It's an old washed up writer who wants to steal a manuscript of the young writer, who might also be having an affair with the elder's wife? I'm hazy, but I think that's the broad stroke.
Thank you! I was only a minute in and it was driving me crazy not knowing who Brian was. Geez, Rosenbaum, can't you have your assistant make a decent description for your vids?
One of the nicest guys out there, he did a interview for my old internet show where he just talked about treading the boards, not to mention signed a copy of Arkham City for a good friend of mine..
RIP Kevin ❤🦇
I sure would like to see a clip of this performance he's talking about! I know that I'm not alone in that request.
Love Kevin Conroy. Great interview. Thanks for sharing.
Great interview really enjoying this podcast.
So Batman & Robin got into a fight onstage and Lex Luther discovers it all these years later? LOL! 😂😂😂

This is an underrated comment!! LOL Here is my like..
I'm sure Brian would be furious at being referred to as the sidekick.
When you can punch on for real but continue dishing out the script 😂
Great story!
I’d love to shoot a scene about THAT story!
Brian should know better not to fight with Kevin No one messes with Batman no one messes with Batman like that
I wish I was at that performance. Sounds hilarious.
Who is the co-star that he's talking about?
brian xD
Exactly. Who the fuck is Brian???
Brian Bedford. He voiced Disney's Robin Hood in the animated movie
Brian who? Great story, but no idea who you guys are talking about.
Brian Bedford. He voiced Disney's Robin Hood in the animated movie
Who is this Ryan? And why is he stupid enough to fight with Batman? Lol
Batman's missed.
