1:46 You're pushing on the wrong spot. The little circle is the sensor, you're supposed to touch the little light right next to it. Blocking the sensor stalls the opening of the door. Great video guys!

Honestly, shrink the grille, and it wouldn't look terrible. The grille is literally my biggest gripe on this.

The sounds while driving are SO awesome! Someone has to make a song out of the driving sounds, like Julian Smith did with Techno Jeep! The THX sound was dope too 🤣
It's a very sensible thing to do to pay attention to the input lag of the system. Yuri and Jakub have some very valid points when it comes to car infotainment interfaces, details of general usability etc. They would make an excellent team for BMW (testing, developing etc.), for example.
The fact that a dodge minivan from 2007 does it better is pretty hilarious. Good on them for pointing this out.

Automatic trans, automatic doors, self-driving cars, gaming consoles and flat screens in the back. Maybe next year we'll get a toaster or a stove so I can make breakfast while my car drives me to work.

People at BMW are not thinking clearly
BMW is certainly THE automotive company, which has mastered BEV integration in ICE platforms. Really curious what they offer with their BEV first 'Neue Klasse' platform, which will be presented at CES next month! Btw, more impressed by this Hans Zimmer soundtrack compared to Tesla's fart jokes.
This has just won the best in class full size luxury sedan along with its ICE sibling
its mind blowing to get the interior designers to do a 10/10 job bit yet the exterior... oh boy.
I remember when the old 7-series from 2000 was so nimble and agile. It sat low to the ground for good handling. It looked classy and not overly futuristic. It was easy on the eyes, not a pain to look at. The hood wasn't so long that you couldn't see the road. Every new generation of the 7 gets bigger, more complex, more expensive, more ugly, and more stupid....

This is the correct implementation of EVs, normal car design (other than BMWs ugliness), reasonable amount of power, it really is a normal 7 Series that just happens to have an Electric Motor :), I may not like current BMW, but sometimes they still know what they are doing 🧐

First of all I am subscribed to you and love your videos but with that said I don't know why you and all of the other reviewers always fail to specify how long it takes to charge these vehicles either at home or on an outside charger and I understand if you don't have a system at your home but someone does and this date definitely factors in to the purchase of any electric car
We used to mention it but we stopped due to our extensive charging experiences. We have never had the manufacturer quoted charge times because the infrastructure around here is still terrible. Assuming the charger does work, we have yet to hit the maximum fast charging speed as rated by the manufacturer. So it’s not fair to tell you it will take 20 minutes from 10%-80% when it actually takes 30-40 minutes without factoring in driving time to get to another fast charger if the first one is broken

Electrical issues are fairly easy if you have the proper tools and test equipment, which BMW most certainly does lol Non-tech takes on auto mechanics are usually pretty off base...you like busting knuckles more than plugging something in or probing some wiring harness?
