I ride a 2019 Road Glide Special. I am 6 foot tall and received a 14.5 inch flare two days ago. I agree that the wind buffeting is gone smooth beyond belief but what is not mentioned is sound. With this windshield I can hear my radio clearly at 70-75 mph. It improves the audio on any bike because of reduction in wind noise. Best option I have installed on this bike.
I purchased and installed the 6.5" Flare about one month ago. I can honestly say it does make a big improvement over the stock Street Glide wind screen. Comparisons were made riding my bike with the Klock Works and riding my brothers same model with stock screen. At 5'11", there is a noticable difference in the baffeling around my head, not only in sound, but now I can ride at 120km/h with my visor up and my glasses don't bounce around. Communications on the Sena have also improved. This windscreen, coupled with a quiet helmet is a must for long rides
I ride a 2019 street glide CVO. I’m 6 foot 2 inches and I installed the smoked 8.5 inch I must say yes and thank you for this incredible product! Throw the stock one out!
‘21 Road Glide Special. I’m 6’2” and I tried the 9” sport flare. No better than stock. Tried the 14” sport flare and still no difference. Don’t waste your money. Get a Memphis Shields or a Long Ride Shields.
My only complaint is that I got the real dark tint, most of the time I look over the windshield but on a descending turn you want to look through it. With the darker tint you can’t do that.
i've bought 4 of these..... not one of them has fit flush with the middle above the vent on the RG. Such a disappointment, especially based on the price. Cheaper, just as good options out there.
It really depends on your torso height. We recommend having a friend to help measure up from the fairing to the point where you can still see over the screen. You'd be sitting on the bike to confirm. Then use that measurement to pick your shield height. -DrewZilla
+dj LarryB I can't make any guarantees on the fit, but with only knowing your height, I'd recommend the 6.5" windshield. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/klock-werks-flare-windshield-for-harley-touring-2014-2016
We haven't been able to check fit with stock HD fairing pouches, but when looking at other fairing pouches from Kuryakyn, they do not work with flared windshields. -DrewZilla
Hello my friend. I'm 6.0 in height. What is the ideal windshield size you suggest? I have a Street Glide 2013. Do you suggest a specific model that you think is better?
There's no exact science behind windshields, unfortunately. In our reviews, most of the riders who are 6 feet tall got the 6.5" version and seem very pleased with it. Some of the slightly taller riders went with 8.5". I think that consensus is the best place to start! -TeamZilla Chris
Hi there!. I'm 6.4 guy riding an Ultra Limited 2016. I installed the tinted 8.5" windshield and it was really fantastic. No more head buffeting and enough clean air to enjoy the wind. However, I upgraded my seat to the Road Zeppelin and I needed to install the 11.5 windshield to deal with head buffeting because the new seat pulls me up 1.5". Definitively a must if you want to improve the aerodynamics of your ride.
Can you clarify your height? Is it 3'9" or is it 5'9"? If 5'9", I recommend you decide compared to your stock shield height. You'd likely want the 5" or 6.5" height. -DrewZilla
The flared design is a double edge sword yes it may direct wind around the rider but the flare does distort your view at your direct line of sight why no mention of this Bad biased review
They have an instructional video on the Klock werk page that tells you specifically how to size. It states how to choose, and its not meant to be looked through.
If he or revzilla as a company believe they make a great product and offer great customer service then what’s the problem with advertising for free? Nobody pays you when you leave bad reviews everywhere right?

Are you looking just above the windshield or looking through it?
I am 6’3. Put an 8.5 on my ‘19 SGS. Huge difference! I love it
Huge difference with these shields compared to stock. Makes the ride so much more enjoyable. Worth every penny spent.

I’m thinking the 5” or the 4”.

Why do some say it works and some say factory is better? It either works or it doesn't

Put an 8.5” on my new 2020 Street Glide Special. Shit looks clean and it works like a dream, son. Should be the first thing you do on your bike!

Hey, does this windshield work with the harley davidson three pouch windshield bags?
i have a 2007 street glide , really like the short windshield though ?
I'm 5-06. Like looking over my wind screen when riding. What would be the best height? While getting the wind up and over..

I have a 2019 Street Glide. I am 5'3". What size do you recommend?
10/10 highly recommend. Works great on my ultra.
I have a reckless fairing on my 06 stratoliner and wondering if the fitment is standard, before I buy one .Does anyone know?
No, these are not compatible with Reckless Fairings. They're only compatible with certain OEM fairings. -DrewZilla
Any windshield compatible with a Harley Ultra Classic style fairing is compatible with a Reckless fairing.
yeah klockwerks has nothing for that fairing. maybe it's time for a awesome change!
i see that they are available for my indian roadmaster...i am 5'7 so what would be best the 10 inch or 12 inch shield ? thx
+MySpankster I'd recommend the shorter option. -DrewZilla
I am 6". I have a 2015 Street Glide Special. I like to e able to see over the windshield and hear my radio better. What size would you suggest for me?
+dj LarryB I can't make any guarantees on the fit, but with only knowing your height, I'd recommend the 6.5" windshield. -DrewZilla

Do Harley windshield bags work with this shield

RevZilla mine works with the stock windshield bags... 2000 Electra Glide.

RevZilla Ops, 5'9", prolly the 6.5, thanks.

I know I still need to measure but can you give me a gestimate idea. I am 6"1 on a 2019 Road Glide.
Since it's really about torso height, not overall height, it's really hard to even give an estimate. -DrewZilla

Bad biased review
These are meant to look over the shield and not through it so its a non-issue IMO.

take the sticker off,it looks stupid.besides its free ad for you and nobodys getting paid. REMOVE THE STICKER!
And I’m guessing that did NOT happen. Good one!
john Hearon thats all you got from that entire video! Get a life!
