Just put a 12in light tint klock Werks windshield on my 2017 Indian Chieftain Limited and all I can say is it looks phenomenal on my bike very easy to install and a major upgrade compared to the standard windshields best purchase for the bike so far thank you for making such a great product
I rode a chieftain on a demo day with a kock werks flare shield and then rode one without one. When I buy a chieftain the first purchase I'm going to make is buying one of those flare windshields. It is a huge improvement! Don't let the shorter height scare you.
Hello, bought one of these at Daytona bike week. Just got back from a 500-mile day trip with a buddy. This windscreen kept most of the air off of me. That's a good thing because it was cold. Also, it saved me from a flying insect that would have hit me in the face with my OEM Chieftain windscreen it works just as advertised. On the day I purchased the windscreen I had called the South Dakota store to find out how long Klock Werks would be open in front of JP cycles in Ormond Beach, When I got there they had just closed, however, they were still hanging out in front of their booth. The manager still took care of me. and made sure I received a discount as well. We then went back to their tent and he let me sit on a bike to make sure I had purchased the right windscreen. Gave me his card and said if after my trip I could return it and he would make sure the correct size would be shipped out to me. Great group of people to do business with. I am now looking into purchasing a set of kliphanger handlebars. After my last experience, i have absolutely no reservations purchasing anything from this company.
hi i found your order number and ordered the 10 in dark smoke for my indian roadmaster through Cycle Works in Calgary Alberta Canada....lookin forward to getting it on and seeing how it works...will post when i do
Hello K Werks. Are you guys looking at creating a shield for the darkhorse? I tried the short tinted shield which was OK offering protection but the incredible noise had me sending the shield back. I would like a shield for touring on the bike but not a fan of the big shields.
Not to take away from Klock Werks but Freedom Shields in Colorado makes a nice black windshield for the DH. Got one on mine and it has a flared lip at the top like the Klock Werks does.
darn it...got your 10 inch one cause you said it was good for u ....too much wind for me so now had to order the 12 inch....lol....anyone lookin for a 10 inch dark smoke windshield ???? lol
This is a damn lie. Helmet wind buffeting is terrible on a 2019 Chieftain. Even with it all the way up on the freeway at 75mph. Yes, I have the 13.7 version.

Relax. Different sizes are available. I just got a 12" and have zero buffeting at 90mph. I'm 5'10.
