During my summer vacation in a small town of Corinth there`s a beautiful restaurant by the sea. There they serve the best gnocchi with a rich creamy sauce made of 4 cheeses. Do you have a good recipe for a cheese sauce? There are lots of recipes on RUclips, but I would like to try one of yours. Thank you in advance. Peace and Love

Tobby ,you remind me so much of my cousin Leo .Hubby & I have loved you for quite a few years. So happy you are with Genaro,( one of my idols). Baked potatoes make sense to me for gnocchi. Less water & flour= less stoginess or bullet pasta. I will be trying this recipe soon. Perhaps you could use the leftover potato skins & deep fry them or bake for a treat with sour cream &sweet chilli sauce. Cheers guys :)

Had a gnocchi dish when I visited Italy, it was weird. It was like coagulated glue, I mean it tasted nice but the texture was kind of slimy and unpleasant. Yet I'm drooling at this video. Magic of Gennaro :)

I have always been drawn to that place, even before I knew about my relatives. It just looks like home to me though I have never been.

Lamfhad Well gnocchi are a kind of dumpling. The recipe is also very similar to our german 'Knödel'. Anyway i really like this recipe having made something like this often in the past :)
Ingredients for RECIPE: 1 kg .... potatoes ( baked, then riced ) Salt and pepper or nutmeg ( eh pinch eh dis, eh pinch eh dat ) 2 .... egg yolks ( whites can be used in tiramisu, meringue, frosting ) 200g +/- .... flour ( add a little at a time, may not need all of it, 1:57 ) Some semolina for 'dusting' otherwise, flour^ works I think i got it :3

How do you eat Knödel? Some interesting sauce, or maybe sweet with sugar and fruits?
Lamfhad Mostly spicy. For example with a meat sauce or with tasty 'Rotkohl' (red cabbage?). Also nice to Frikadellen (meat balls).
Interesting since you use it as addition to meal. I am more familiar with eating it alone. But I am true Kartoffeln maniac :P
