I feel like this is a huge experiment. They are getting into fantasy entirely on their own separate from games workshop and have greater creativity. Alongside a very popular mythic setting
Thanks for the new heads up. I like the look of the Historical. I find the hero scripts are lame or get in the way of a good campaign, I hope the Historical mode is tamed down. Not sure about Mythos yet, I heard it had the same hero scripts and campaign goal, I have to look into gameplay first.
Its very nice now i play myth behind the myth…..🎉🎉 i finished 2 times historical mode with Agamemnon and odeseus . If i finish now with rhesus maybe i will try mythos mode with some other faction maybe amazons or troy faction 🎉🎉
Most of us don't know anything about Truth behind the Myth mode. We didn't play the game at launch. edit: and you covered my point 2 minutes later in the video lol nice.
$90 for a smaller total war title and the dlc's, and that's on sale after being out for 12 months! Still not sure about getting it. It's in the setting I have always wanted, and has that AoM feel! But I feel as though CA is turning into a money hungry company when they say Saga titles will be smaller, cheaper games they can experiment with! Clearly not the case!
I think initially more people will play historical becuase its free and mythological is paid DLC, but I think long term it will be Mythos. I for one want to at least try out historical.
eh. Base Troy army vs army was great, with the heroes feeling a bit boring and out of place (except for the archer hero, direct enfilade fire with the archer hero was 👌 and felt actually earned). Replacing the one single model unit with a bodyguard unit is pretty great to me.
Just want to say thanks for frontloading the info. So rare and appreciated!
That's a very thorough video. Thanks for sharing!

Greatly appreciate up-fronting but still love the full videos!
Historical bronce age total war, let's go!

I just hope they go ahead with the Egyptian DLC, that would be so much fun
Do agents in Mythos get to fight on the battlefield?
Epic myth heroes. Embargo or removed?
Troy.. hmm. Little time to play these days, even if I don't take a salary to waste my time 😸
what's historical mode gonna do

Tbh I just want it to be released so we can start getting Warhammer news again.
Soon, brother!
Fact: Mythos Mode is the chad option.
@@MLF4468 Hoping for more in the future.
@@MLF4468 they are just getting started
I'd really like to see how many people would play historical over mythological lol

The real question is what will the future mods favor? Nice to know CA is heavily supporting tools for modding on this title.
The fantasy favor will be more popular, but a bronce age total war have many fans
I just got the game. Will be playing historical.
I think historical fans don't play troy at all
Yoooo
So sad to see that the historical mode is looking a little meh :(
With mod tool support from CA, I believe there will be some that’ll focus specifically on historical mode. So there is hope.
