King Richard sure looks good and active to be over 80 yrs young long live the king thanks Richard and cousin Dale and Kyle and Lee Petty for your contributions to NASCAR racing to me Richard Petty will always be the king keep up the fine podcasts and take care.
Is there any way they can get rid of that short sidewall tires for the short tracks and put some type of different brake system on it they have too much tire and too much brake and not enough horsepower. ✌️🇺🇸
Good question. At Bristol, you have to get off the gas and tap the brake going into the turn. If you have more horsepower, instead of a car on the inside "bogging down," they can jump back on the gas in the middle of the corner, gain speed and traction, and make the pass coming off the turn. With a lack of horsepower, this is not possible. Most of the time, the car on the high side of the 30-degree banking will stay ahead.
God Bless you Mr.Petty thanks for being you 🔥💯👊
I was there and watched them make this!!

Dynamic duo. Thank you.
I was there yesterday it was a great time 😄
It was such an honor to meet Mr Petty and Mr. Inman and then watch them make this video. Visiting the Petty Museum was a bucket list thing for me.
Why won’t NASCAR listen to the King??? Give these short track cars some damn horse power!
Yeah if they should listen anybody it's definitely The King!

Wonder if Richard Petty still has some of those paper hammers
If everyone gets the same horsepower increase, how can it make a difference?
My opinion, they run to fast for good racing. The track is too perfect, gotta have more breaking for driving

Ha ha even in the 60's they had a few poo show races.
I don't understand why you preplay the best of the video in the first 30 seconds. Please stop.
