I laughed so hard when Austin said Ginkgo biloba! Austin reminds me so much of Kyle when he interviews someone. He sounds like Kyle, has the same mannerisms and control of a conversation. Great video. Always enjoy watching and hearing Petty stories.

In the peak era of muscle cars, THAT was beyond all others & everyone at the time knew it. The neighbor across the street had a brother with an orange one. When he came over, people would stop to look. Every head turned with it parked on the street. There was every type of Boss & Shelby mustang driving around, Hemis, Trans Ams, Camaros, Javelins, but the Plymouth Super Bird was like a spaceship had landed. Everyone had to get a look, & unlike all the other muscle cars, there were very few seen.

One the most beautiful cars ever made and the GOAT of Nascar drove it !!!!

Reminds me of a story that AJ tells about the first time an American stock car ran at Le Mans. Many in attendance had never heard or seen anything like it in Europe. When it came roaring down the long straightaway, people ran for the exits! 😂

so many wonderful stories. I see Lee with the Pure Oil logo, and think of Smokey. Then Fireball. When that happened Richard Petty filled the hole in my heart. I built a model of the Road Runner. Grew up in the NE Modifieds and Dad, through Pontiac, IMSA had associations with Pontiac and Petty in the 80s. Eventually I was involved in racing in the mid 90s. But I will never forget when i first saw the King in real life... Martinsville 72, I thought I saw God. Same when I saw Smokey at Charlotte mid 90s. so ... Thank you!

I can never get enough of the Petty family, great stuff Kyle is my favorite story teller, in 1967 I was stationed at Dover AFB me and friend were driving to Richmond VA and around DC we met a Dodge box truck pulling a open trailer with the number 43 in tow, it was the most exciting for us, I still remember it like it was yesterday. Crazy I know.
