    I wore out a couple of his cassette tapes in the ‘80’s, got his instructional tapes, played some slide. Gotta get back to it. No one plays at Brozman’s caliber. He can be frantic-sounding, but it’s authentically him, and played perfectly. There are lots of mellow songs he’s done which are absolutely beautiful. He was a genius, no doubt. He died way too young.
    Thanks, Bob.

      Tony McLean Like Bill Cosby , that will overshadow your accomplishments as it should be. Yet people tend to look the other way about what a violent creep thug Frank Sinatra could be . Then there is Michael Jackson who is the one person I think was innocent

    • @dagnabbit6187
      @dagnabbit6187 6 лет назад +2

      Tony McLean Michael Jackson Raper ?--- I don't think so. Molester --- possible. However I think he was definitely innocent in second case and the boy's Mother was exposed as a Celebrity Shakedown/Con Artist. If Michael Jackson was totally innocent , he was advised about Neverland Ranch by an Attorney saying people could get the wrong idea with his sleepovers etc. Warped by fame and never had a childhood - Yes but i just haven't seen the evidence in both of them. There are a lot of people who believe that Michael Jackson didn't do either one of them. I read . I just don't believe it and I am not Starstruck about anybody.

Sit back, realize this man is a musical genius and enjoy the entertainment. If everyone were to nitpick every horrible thing all artists in the public eye were to have done, no one would listen to THE MUSIC!! I don't care to know what he did. If you say that a musician like this doesn't have feeling, you really should be ashamed of yourself. It's not a mattter of opinion. This man HAS feeling. If he didn't put his heart and soul into his music, he wouldn't ever have gotten so good at guitar. Just the fact that you can't feel the soul he puts into his music, doesn't mean it isn't there.

    I've only just learned today of Bob Brozman's passing, and the allegations of child abuse. Obviously, if they're true, they're deeply disturbing and impossible to condone. However, I've also read the obits etc from 2013 and there seems to be no criminal or civil follow-up since then that I can find. I'm old-fashioned enough to believe in innocence until guilt is proven. It's how things used to be. And I also understand how, these days, such allegations can quickly gain credence simply via repetition in digital media. The fact is we don't know, and we may never know, and all the mis-spelt rancour and moral judgement is really only wasted keystrokes. I'd like to share a more positive memory of Bob Brozman. I once recorded a concert performance of his for a radio show I presented at the time and, naturally enough, asked his permission for copyright reasons. "You know what", he replied, "the moment those notes leave my guitar, they belong to you".

      As I remember, he was in Europe, staying at Big Fan's house while he was on Tour. Bob was in middle of a Concert tour. The Father woke up to noises and found Bob in daughter's room in inappropriate circumstances. Though Bob was thrown out of house then and there, he continued the concerts amid the controversy, and it was soon after that that he ended his life.

      I will always think my musical friend bob was pulled a Michael Jackson knowing bob he always fucked out of any big criticism either by voicing it or shutting up in a slight depression well he really fucked off here and, I still don't agree even though I will miss a friend and an eternal musical genius as well as the world at large!!

      My Dad who is also gone now, was friends with Bob during the days Bob regularly played the Crow's Nest in Santa Cruz. My mom had also got to know Bob. Bob was a good guy. I don't know when or where these allegations took place? But, I'm confident enough to call BULLSHIT. There's just no way in Hell He'd do anything like that. It kinda bothers me to know he would be accused of something that awful. R.I.P Bob. a truly under rated artist.

    No shit, this guy is one of the baddest blues players to ever pluck a string. As well as fantastic at all the other styles he covers. A total monster.
