A quality resonator guitar at a reasonable price with excellent customer service. - Видеоклипы
There are far too few people in this world that even know what a Nashville metal bodied guitar is or how it was meant to be played. Damn few people.
Thank you so much for your take on it...
I mean that very sincerely.
Thank you for your comment. Certainly not Bluegrass, but more of a country folk blues approach than a hard bitten Delta rendition. Enjoy.
blind willie Johnson is the greatest of the blues gospel singers ever. he was a genius ahead of his time asking in the 40s is a man only in his mind or if he had a soul something beyond the body.
I love the guitar in this piece and the voice even a terrible singer like me can contribute a few bum notes too
thanks guys
I live in Mississippi and sure do enjoy you boys who keep it alive. I play in a rock band as a drummer but always remember where the roots are. Thank you boys, ole blind willie would be proud of you.
When I was a gambler, nobody would go my bond
Fell on my knees and began to pray, 'cause Jesus would go my bond
You guys are fantastic! Simply amazing! We all got to keep the blues alive and you guys are definitely doing your part!
It's great to see people keeping the old blues alive. There's a place reserved in heaven for you. I always like to encourage young people to go and listen to the original song, in this case by Blind Willie Johnson. Then you can appreciate this version even more.
The blues can be complex but is often simple and sweet.
harp and slide , they get me everytime. always have. brilliant sound.
To me, Nothing defines delta blues like the resonator guitar. In the hands of a good player the sound is heaven like.
No. A resonator guitar has an aluminum cone inside that creates the vibrating tone similar to how a banjo uses a skin to produce it's unique sound. Thank you for your question.
Why bother have a 'thumbs down' option on pages like this,,,when you clearly just want to give it a thumbs up...love it!
that performance is flat outstanding one the best blues performances that I have ever experienced - flat out loved it !
That is very kind. Glad to hear you enjoyed our performance.
This is real music and this is so beautifull love it.

I hope someday people are listening to your playing as treasured classics.
It would help me out more today, if listening encourages them to buy some of my CDs. lol Being buried treasure is not what most artists aspires to achieve in their lifetime. lol
Absolutely wonderful !!!!
I am in awe of your talent. Brilliant.
well bark my shins 2019 just found this gem!
You've done this perfectly. One of my favorite vids on youtube. Huge "thank you" from poland.
Simply amazing
I cannot believe how amazing this song is. I have admired your rendition for quite some time and it still sends chills down my spine. You are both so inspirational. Thank you.
Thank you for your kind words. This style seemed to resonate with me. (sorry about the pun). I guess this accounts for how it gets expressed. If the performer feels it, usually the listener will too. I guess it simply cannot be forced.
Thank you. We greatly appreciate your encouragement. We are currently working on new CD of all original songs.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts. They are very kind and encouraging.

One of the best covers i've heard in decades. Can't stop to listen to this at least one time a day. Keep up the good work!
Needed this at this point in time.
Thank you so much for posting this, it's awesome playing! And I completely agree with Robert Walters- It sounds exactly like time travelin' to 1927.
Thank you. Like rolling the dice, this one happened to work out especially well. Glad you are enjoying it.
Im often distracted by the many forms of blues... and that's a good thing too..... but whenever I land on a site as this.... I find my thinking stopped and Im then in the strictly 'absorbed-by-it'' mode. And... I want to remain right there. You see.... this opens and reveals to me a place in my soul that I just didn't even know was there.... til now.
Absolutely marvelous! THANK YOU!!!
I listen to this all the time and it always amazing, awesome keni
Long live the Blues....
Amazing picking and harp. True music. Hey kids listen up,this is where it came from..
Thank you for taking the time to comment.
bluesman0000 o so true
Another fan this side of the pond...thanks guys
We don't hear enough of this classic stuff! Fab!
Thank you for your comment. Regardless of metal or glass, thick walled and heavy usually works best. Glass is more dense than softer metals like brass and generally produces the superior tone. Guitar Set-up is really key for any guitar to produce it's best tone. The proper string tension for the slide is essential. Tuning and string guage are related. I hope this answers your question. Enjoy your practice.
Wow that was amazing, what a brilliant cover by these two guys, I don't know much about them, Burgess and Helferich, what great musicians......
Wonderful, wonderful! Thank you so much for posting.
sends shivers up your spine !

+Keni Lee Burgess Is there somewhere to get the lyrics to this version of the song?
Look toward the original. After that, I craft the lyrics the best I can to express the original intention of the song. Write your own rendition. I teach my rendition on CD 8. Ebay / Search: keni lee

Ya...in big cities too. In a way, pawn brokers function and step in, when the banks can't help you...after watching these currently popular shows about pawn shops...people should do a little homework first before pawning. Brokers are there to make a buck too...if they can get more for less, that is just good business. Thanks for sharing.
It´s nearly impossible to hear the harmonica.

The simplicity and purity of this music makes so enjoyable to listen to. Blues is where it's at. I have a few of Blind Willie Johnson's records. Great for on the road, at night, on a long trip.

Nice job Keni Lee, great to see the old traditional blues being kept alive, afterall it's what turned me onto the blues in the first place.
