This music video is so raw. There’s no visual effects, no elaborate story, just raw footage of a band embracing their genre. The facial expressions and movements of Mitch Lucker just make him look like an absolute demon and it’s just absolutely amazing. So cool. Favorite SS song for sure.

I can tell that this genre takes a patient ear. 2 years ago I thought this was junk but now the nore meral I listen to, the more I hear the beauty of it. If you really listen you can hear the amazing harmonies, beats, and riffs.

This band is what got me into to metal vocals. I heard the aggressive shrieks along with the guttural death growls and just had to learn how to do that. Deathcore is honestly fun on any instrument.

Every time I hear Disengage, I think about my best friend, Jerrick who passed away when he was only 18 years old in a tragic accident. Suicide Silence was one of his favorite bands. He especially really liked Mitch Lucker's vocals and his growls.
