I am convinced Phil Bozeman does not do these vocals himself, rather he open his mouth and summons a portal to the deepest pits of hell in his throat and that is what you hear coming through those speakers
DedSec Lmao, +1
Hahaha
DedSec perfect!
Is that not what happens...?
DedSec Your comment is pure win
Phil literally kills this one, such a fucking brutal voice. Watched this probably 1000 times now. Rest easy Mitch we miss you.
yes we do ya dickhead. CHEAH
2:07 got so heavy the guitarist prayed!
He is godly man 🙏🙏🙏
Angelo Landon shut up
Fucking cheah you mushroomtip.
This never gets old , probably the best live deathcore performance imo
I keep coming back as well, when I crave that "being at a show" vibe...
The prelude to beareavment - shadow of intent live at the foundry club, is another badass one for that, you can't find a clip of the specific song so you'll have to find the whole set list vid and skip to around 22 mins
Lorna Shore are ridiculously good live too
Undeniably GOAT, but alex terrible is fucking insane.
@@HurleyAndVans i agree
10 years later and this is one of the cleanest live vocals ive ever heard
It was the perfect performance
with no rehearsal
tbh I like it better than the original, eventhough I listen to both versions!
@@dlaird88 and literally 2 hours of sleep before the concert. Phil said it in a podcast
🤘🏼🤘🏼
Having seen on the Garza podcast that Phil had 2 hours sleep, a panic attack and no rehearsal and did this is just a testament to the vocalist Phil is. To be able to walk on stage, with a band you’re not in, to sing a song you didn’t write and do it this well. Bravo
2:06 Mark's reaction says everything!!!
I Didn't notice that! lmao thanks, that's gold
🙏
The next 20 seconds need to be my ringtone and morning alarms...vocals are demonic
I guess his prayers got answered?

After Mitch
Sounds like a clogged drain to me.
I did that part too on my cover
@@scytheofhate nah Bozeman is the goat
@@scytheofhate Mitch? Lmao
This is no doubt Phill's best live performance ever! His lows, highs, mids, and stage presence was just amazing
The way he stalks and lurks back and forth…💀
He did it for mitch
Also he only did one song so he could destroy his voice since he didn't have to perform the next day or at all after this until whitechapel next tour date
@@joepro8329 EXACTLY RIGHT!! HE DID IT FOR MITCH! THEY ALL DID.
If that was his best live performance i don't get why so many people still think he's the best. Don't get me wrong, his lows are insane in this performance but there are so many by now who do it "better"
Phenomenal performance
+zacsmith115 I see what you did and I like it
Reda Azzi Philnomenal*
pobre hombre
The “why do you think that is” 2:14 has to be one of the best live vocal metal lines ever spoken. It absolutely crushes your soul
2:07 am I joke to you haha
still to this day, one of the best growls i've heard in any deathcore song.
gutturals*
@@chronicatalyststudios8103 yeah that

Oh boy, don't you know infant Annihilator?
@@Randybobandy024 Of course I know them. Phil Bozeman has far better growls and gutturals than Infant Annihilators vocalist
A lot's changed in the past 5 years but I still come back to this video to hear 2:06

Same here :D
I STILL fucking do xD
Phil really is one of the best metal vocalists alive
I wish I could inject that low directly I to my bloodstream
yeess, same!
No one else was available, so they asked him to phil-in.
Sorry
hahahaha hilarious!
Looool:D
I liked it
Bah dum tissssss

His gutturals are so low even my self esteme feels higher
lmao no hopes for me there bud
hahahahaha
Lmao
Okay this was really good lol
Lol
I seriously haven't seen such a vocal live performance. wow
You know you're good when the guitarist literally folds his hands in prayer at your lows 2:07, then proceeds to headbang
That's Mark for you...
Omg thank you for pointing that out. haha so sick
hahaha it's like he looked over to Phil an thought you better nail this and then he's like yeeess thank youuu! 🙏
Chad Phelps
Chad Phelps dude I keep replaying this part 👌
This song will never be the same after this. Holy shit Phil.
I am not a huge Suicide Silence or Whitechapel fan but this is one of my all time favorite live performances. Phil is a fucking legend.
agree
Honestly as much as it was tragic losing mitch, a lot of phenomenal frontman stepped up and delivered possibly one of THE best shows I've ever seen. Respect to suicide silence for initiating the show without their main leader, and respect to all these other frontmen that took time to perform their best for such a tragic loss. RIP Mitch and thank you metal fans who keep the spirit alive even after unfortunate events
Im using this comment as a continuation since the likes are at 69
Yeah this show was probably one of the best live shows I’ve ever had the pleasure of watching online. Everyone killed it.
Definitely better than the Chester Bennington concert.
Ya unfortunately that one missed the mark completely@@theapocalypsebarbie
Phil sang for Mitch. his vocals, the feelings that went into this song. he was thinking of Mitch during this
Truth.
Agreed. Have you seen the live video of Mitch bringing him up on stage for the finale' of "No Pity for a Coward?!"... Go look that shit up if you haven't already; quality isn't great, but still sick as fuck.
Comment literally gave me fucking goosebumps.
Mitch befoe wreck: God if i die plz dont let phil cover my songs
Phil: WHERE IS YOUR GODDDDDD
2:14 Revisiting yet again today, and read this. I really feel it in the "Why do you think that is", you know, the hateful sort of, hardcore-style voice-lows he does. Every time.
Who’s still watching in 2078?

i feel like I'm the only one that loves phil highs
nope, me too
His highs suit Whitechapel.... not so much SS.
Nate Gariepy You're definitely not the only one m8. His range is incredible. 1:18 & 1:39 are beautiful.
Nate Gariepy I love his highs too, They are unique
Nate Gariepy They're actually so good.
In all honesty, Phil is the best person to do a song that mitch was on. Both mitch and phil are such great vocalists.
Why does he look like when you try to increase your sneaking skill in Skyrim?
Haha oh shit that got me
fuck yeah
+99Jibs that made my day
Lulz. But actually it helps with breathing Control and breathing from your diaphragm. He post vocal tutorials that explained it.
literal lol
I'm not into deathcore anymore, but sometimes I come back to this just to listen Phil's awesome vocals.
I was in the same boat til I heard Lorna shore. Now I'm back lol
+MrBX5 What do you listen to now?
Elliot Pierson Mostly Thrash and Heavy Metal. And some Melodic Death Metal.
If i ever stop listening to deathcore, i don't want to give it ip completely, i'm actually planning on forming a band that mixes thrash with deathcore.
+sha-d paul I wanna be in a deathcore band jus shredding like these and rings of Saturn
i love how phil can pump up a crowd by standing still
Agreed. Phil has a phenomenal stage presence.

Guys who placed the lineup: Okay so Austin, Eddie, Danny, you guys are gunna go on a bit later.
Them: okay, who's on before us?
Guy: Phil Bozeman
Them:....
Everyone else did pretty solid too though. Danny did great on "The Price of Beauty", and Randy Blythe of course killed YOLO.
this guy has inhuman vocals

that is inhuman man
phil is AMAZING
some retarded dude 1:19 I can do a growl like that now
Jay_ Hawk you want a cookie?
Yeah I agree with you phil has inhuman vocals
And he does it with such ease too wtf
and hes still getting better, insane! hymns of dissonance is HEAVY

Seriously lmao
Bro. We have the same last name. And we like the same music. ARE YOU MY LONG LOST BROTHER!?!?!?!
To me Mitch would have loved this show. Not only from the point of view that it was in memory of him, but just the simple fact that it was a show with friends getting together and just having a good time. To me that's a pretty awesome way to commemorate the life of a great guy.
*****
I call being a disrespectful fuck on you. Have some decency.
Who's here after Phil's interview talking about this performance?
9 years old and I still get goosebumps.
Thanks to phil i can hardly listen to the original

darius's cover is fucking wicked
Philly Bo shits all over the original he absolutely nailed that into a sound that im a big fan of.He is my favorite vocalist of any deathcore band.🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
@2:07 the guitarist on the left had to send up a quick prayer so the angels didn't smite the band from the portal of hell being opened!
Omg 😂😂😂😂

it’s crazy how i’m 25 now and this is still my favorite performance ever
this needs to be on itunes.

Caulee Hogan And what if you can't spare it. I only go to concerts but fuck that i buy digital stuff :P. And cd's just take up place
I too will gladly pay for this song if they had a studio version
***** I do. It believe it or not, actually HELPS the music industry....
Or just buy the physical copy because digital copies suck ass.
I wouldn't have anyone else cover this besides Phil
. RIP Mich Lucker.
Wow what a fucking monster. He KILLED it. His highs aren't as strong as Mitch's but his lows are just fucking godly. I've literally never heard better gutturals either. This dude has so much power...
I like Phil Bozeman, so don't take this as me trying to compare him to anybody else. Just thought you'd like to check out Travis Ryan from Cattle Decapitation. In my opinion, he's got the most versatile voice ever - check out the songs "Kingdom of Tyrants" or "Your Disposal" and you'll see what I'm talking about.
pestbarn Phil Bozeman looks and sounds almost exactly like a young Travis Ryan. Cattle Decapitation have been a favorite of mine for a while.
***** Ever hear of Ian Bearer from Rings of Saturn? His vocals, including highs, are fucking other worldly man.
***** Different types of versatility, I guess. If we're not talking about death metal anymore, my top spot for versatility would go to Mike Patton.
pestbarn I've heard em, and I'm not bashing but I don't really like his style. I would put Phil above him and I haaaate the weird noises Travis does where he sticks out his tongue and like screeches haha. But again... Not hating! I'm a Vocalist myself for 6+ years. You guys should check my channel, my band recently released an EP featuring John Gallagher of Dying Fetus! :)
I don't even like deathcore as a whole, but I keep coming back from time to time to listen to this performance, these vocals are sick!
2:04 is fucking inhuman.
I truly believe Phil contains the portal of Hell in his Vocals.
It's been YEARS since the Mitch Lucker Memorial and I still come back to see the beautiful performance all musicians brought to the table
Who else is happy this is the culture they're apart of?
one of the best vocalist of this generation Phil didn't only kill it he made it sound fucking brutal ..wish i could be on that show to pay my tribute for Mitch.
R.I.P
love from Bangaldesh.
Why did you put RIP?
because Mitch is dead that's why!
Andrew Keyes RIP to Mitch, keep stomping the fucking angels
Ah. I forgot all about that, I apologize about my ignorance.
its ok man :)
If you ever get to see whitechapel live, DO IT! One of the absolute BEST LIVE
Jesus that guy can do some crazy lows.
This is singlehandedly, without question, the most incredible live performance moment I've ever seen. And easily the most memorable. Phil's vocals absolutely define what I call perfect in this video.
5 years on and this is still one of the best live vocal performances I've seen. Goddamn
Joseph Bastidas agreed
I saw Phil in concert during the 10 year anniversary of "This is Exile" absolutely insane performance. He had such power and clarity even after performing the entire album live plus a hit single at the beginning. Absolutely incredible stamina.
2019 and this is still the best thing ever. Damn.
I know man, Phil is basically the fucking Deathcore God.

Just wait
We can clearly see here how Phil Bozeman is serious in everything he does. There is hours and hours of training behind this perfect cover. It must be an honor for Mitch to see one of his best tracks (if not the best, which is IMO) being covered as good as this. I have seen Whitechapel a couple times (the best performance being in the Summer Slaughter 2011) and never has Phil disappointed me. He is a stage beast.
Phil has some of the best live screams and growls. And he can sing too! Dude is a phenomenal vocalist. He did this song justice too.
best live vocal performance in metal history

I feel that in every other song he has preformed in other than his own he did better in. Still love whitechapel though
+MrAttheMALL no
Morgorath30 yes
I don't think you listen to enough whitechapel then
Morgorath30 I have all of their albums, i just feel that phil performs better in songs other than his own.
MrAttheMALL I mean he is great when he features. But whitechapel is a beast. I can't say I agree with you. Even off the new album there is dope shit: mono, blacked out, diggs road.
Mitch's highs with Phil's lows = a porn song
Josh_ Wright kinda want someone to edit that video

Phil and Randy!
Ah Phil & Whitechapel, the one deathcore band even the metal elitists can't hate.
TheSpliffstarEffect Actually, I've seen quite some Metal elitists that hate Whitechapel... well, after The Somatic Defilement. But All Shall Perish gets alot of respect even from people who like Death Metal and hate Deathcore.

How can we be sure that he is a human being ?

Best vocalist performance at the memorial show 🔥🤘🏽
Phil is an excellent vocalist and I say 'nay' to anyone who says otherwise.
He gave his own quality to the song and I personally like it more than the original.
But regardless, to say that any of Phil's vocals are less than par is simply baseless.
He rocks.
not enough credit goes to well written words
I watch this almost daily.... its so incredibly good.
Phil is the best vocalist the metal scene has ever seen. Hands down.
Honestly Tim’s performance was the best that night! He did such a phenomenal job on wake up it still blows me away
Phil's vocal clarity, brutality, and obvious and unmatchable talent are what makes this one of the best live performances I've ever heard. Even the band was in shock while performing, because Phil is a fucking monster. The band was just there to make the bland, garage band sounds in the background. Nothing more. Because Phil stole the fucking show.
Sweet lord. Was thinking at 1:19 "Damn, how does he go this low? Must be the king of dem lows !".... Until 2:06.
Am I the only one who didn't know that Phil Bozeman had this in him? Like holy fuck he blew me away.
