I actually met Mitch in OKC back in.. 2009?2010? 2011? Somewhere around then. I wasn't a metal head yet but I had a friend who was performing the carny act between shows and I ended up backstage hanging with the dude... No idea who he was... Even asked him if he was in a band... He chuckled and said " yeah man, I'm the suicide silence vocalist"... We hung out most of the night... Really cool dude... Chill... And down to earth... Crazy that I didn't become a metal head until years later after he died and now I'm jamming his music that I knew nothing about when I met him
