I've been listening to metal for over 35 years and I've never heard anything like this. Unbelievable. The only words I have is 'the album can't come soon enough'.
My favorite part: this song just topped almost everything else in the "heavy pig breakdown" genre. It's going to be SO HARD for another band to top this, but it will eventually happen and I'm SO FUCKING EXCITED for when that day comes.
I've been listening to metal since Ave Ventura: Pet Detective had Cannibal Corpse as a "background band." I have also never heard anything like this... I've never cared about hardcore because it was always too bland. Mixing genres has been the best part of metal's evolution imo.
After a decade of hearing a bunch of metal bands that all sound exactly the same, you have no idea how refreshing it is to hear a band like this. Not just the vocalist: everything about this is terrifyingly brilliant, and I love it.
I love this, and while it’s certainly a bit more multi-dimensional than the average deathcore, I really don’t think it’s that much different from what other bands in the scene are doing. (It’s really well-done and crushing, so that’s what matters to me.) But fact is, there’s been many creative heavy bands in the last decade (including some popular heavy acts that the elitist kind hate on). In deathcore? Well ask the experts about that, but you know what’s the saying: you just gotta look for what’s out there. Anyway, many artists in many genres may sound the same, although despite what some say, there’s no shortage of stuff that truly stands out. I know I’m looking forward to this band’s future output
because everybody talks about the singer and new metalheads have no idea what to focus on, in a song so they follow the lead. The whole band is good, not only the singer.

So I have CPTSD from domestic violence and gun violence and I get triggered by loud booming noises like fireworks and gunshots and I just have to say that your band has been a saving grace for me. Not only do y'all produce great music it helps immensely when I start to feel triggered. I usually just put in my Bluetooth headphones immediately and your music drowns out the sounds that send me into a flashback. Y'all help every single time. I'm so grateful ❤️

It's been literal fucking years since any vocalist has given me shivers and brought me to tears with a scream like Will can produce. I'm absolutely shook.
The transitions the vocalist goes through are absolutely astounding. Will, you're truly talented. Keep releasing these absolute bangers. Welcome to Lorna Shore.
This is the song you crank out of your car stereo at max volume, when the passenger is one of those "I listen to everything" kinda people, and then watch their head explode when they try to comprehend this
Almost everyone that I have recommended lorna shore to have said that it is very good, even the ones who do not like deathcore/death metal/black metal vocals. They like this even more than technical death metal or melodic death metal bands that usually ease people in to more extreme genres.
@@okkokarsama1596 that's definitely possible, I started liking metal and everything heavier when I was a kid, was actually forced into liking it by my brother who played this kinda music loudly nonstop, and so it was either embrace the music and find comfort in it, or shoot myself in the brain, I chose the first option

That would be embarrassing.
@@jakegattens8370 You can always go heavier and heavier, there's no exact measure of this type of things. But i believe that when someone hears something and think "wow now... this is the heaviest thing ever!" means that the musicians and producer(s) did a really great job. The feeling of the moment is what it counts.
When Tom left the band I was very sad and didn’t have very high expectations with CJ when it was announced that he would be the replacement (in general terms for the band, not only vocals) but everything turned out to be just as good and for some even better. Then CJ is kicked out and the same sensation comes back, but turns out Lorna Shore does it again and returns with an absolutely amazing sound and another beast of a vocalist. These guys just never miss.
When you released the track, ''Immortal'', I was going through, a tough period, in my life, when I lost my mother suddenly, due to, cardiac arrest. Your music, has a very special place in my heart. And this new release, is your best yet. I love you so much Lorna Shore! You have made my year! You have no idea, how much I wept, throughout this track. It is simply, gorgeous!
What lyrics? I typically like most metal but i literally barely heard words... I have no clue what is being said.. Love the instrumental though. Im more used to stuff like slaughter to prevail, extortionist, and jinjer.
My son is 15 and never really cared about music. I played this for him like 15 times, he is now a full on metal head, sports a Lorne shore shirt to school and is always sending me new bands to check out. This song literally got him into music.
I've been listening to death and black metal for 30+ years. This guy is hands down one of the best vocalist I've ever heard. I feel like I've been put through an exorcism, holy shit.
yeah he's on par with Dickie Allen the vocalist of infant annihilator. The final breakdown grunt it's the same a their masterpiece (Blasphemian) Correction: unholy grave birth is the song. blasphemoan has only a snarl with a phenomenal transition scream
i’m not even into this type of music but i can’t imagine how much talent this takes. especially the screams like damn, you gotta work really hard to find a way to not hurt your vocal chords while screaming like this constantly
@@kiblewin-averre2987 It's actually a second set of folds called "false folds." You use your diaphragm to even talk, imagining tension in your diaphragm is more of a mental que to take your vocal chords out of the sounds to avoid injury.
You've got to do it from within, you can't do it from your head. I can do it, perhaps not like this because I've never really tried to do something like this, mainly because I've never heard something like this, (I'm old) but Lamb Of God/ Slipknot I can do and not strain my vocal cords at all.

This song sounds like it could be the beginning to a new era of Death core, The new vocalist definitely brought the Hellfire with this, and that breakdown I have never heard anything quite like it. I have heard pig squeal vocals before but this sounded more like a hell spawn boar, purely terrifying, especially if i encountered something like that, something that made those noises while i was out walking in the woods, I wouldn't know what to do.
The singer is definitely talented. The pig squeals were phenomenal but Dickie Allen still holds that crown. He has some ultra dirty snarls, tunnel vocals, and highs.
My favorite part about this song is that when the breakdown at 3:14 hits, you think “holy s#%! that breakdown crushes. Filthy af” and at that moment in time, your soul had no clue what was going to happen to it 2 minutes later
Will Ramos sets the bar for range and to say I am MESMERIZED is an understatement. Your screams reach octaves that leave my jaw on the floor and ears bleeding IN A GOOD WAY
Baba Yaga sucked. His vocals are good and have only gotten better over the years no denying but they're just a clout band because he made a bad ass mask. They're the basic "I listen to deathcore" name now.
It's so crazy the transitions on this. I feel like I've written some cool parts separately, but the real challenge is making them all fit together like this. Incredible.
It feels like Will channels everyone`s dark side and it resonates back. Offtopic - The sad moment when you realize you are there is no one in your social group to share this masterpiece with.

My favorite part: this song just topped almost everything else in the "heavy pig breakdown" genre. It's going to be SO HARD for another band to top this, but it will eventually happen and I'm SO FUCKING EXCITED for when that day comes.

After a decade of hearing a bunch of metal bands that all sound exactly the same, you have no idea how refreshing it is to hear a band like this. Not just the vocalist: everything about this is terrifyingly brilliant, and I love it.
this
This really isn't original. At all.
Hmm maybe in the Deathcore genre, but still not that out of the ordinary, I agree that it isn't coockie cutter deathcore tho.
