The thing in the intro is nice. If you have a dark product you need a light background, if you have a light product you need a dark background, or you could just put more lighting on the product. It was dark and hard to see. Other than that good job as usual.

Mac user here, Leopold boards work well with MacOS despite no official support. I can easily configure my Leopold to my Mac with dip switches and a few adjustment in the keyboard preferences.
I use this board with red silent switches at work alongside a similar sized Niz Plum board. If the Niz board ever dies on me, I'm replacing it with another one of these. It's surprisingly quieter than everybody else's work provided membrane keyboards (I also don't type heavy so...) and it just blends in with the office environment.
I got the leopold fc660m as my endgame prebuilt just because of build quality, switch option and the keycaps. I dont have to change anything about it and i like it, truly god tier imo for prebuilt but stabs are not god tier like varmilo unfortunately but good enough

I got the FC660MBT Vapor with MX speed from mechanicalkeyboards a few weeks ago and apparently it was something many people in the US wanted but it havent released yet, and I surprised to find one for me. This thing has been amazing with its BT 5.1 and I havent need to charge my keyboard for around 2 weeks with Duracell battery, then I just plug USB-C dust cover, oh yeah it has USB-C!!!! The weight of it is still reasonable and the keycaps is gorgeous. I tried to lube the switch with desoldering and manage to make them sound better even dialectric grease the stab but not sure if it still have high ping sound or not. Overall, this is a great keyboard over their old mini-usb with extra connectivity and USB-C.
To me USB mini B is the sturdiest in terms of wear and tear. USB C wears out quite as easily as USB micro B in my experience, and is not necessary for a USB 2.0 peripheral.
Great content and I love how you guys are progressing with Video quality. There is a constant audio hiss in this video you may want to look into it going forward can be cleaned in post and maybe try soften the light it should take harshness on the lighted parts of the face (if source permits). Thank you for this! I just learned of this brand after seeing someone selling it locally and was thinking of getting it but this review gave me enough reason that this isn't the right one for me. That mini usb really killed it for me. I'm going for the Akko 3068 instead and I hope I'll like it.
The Leopold boards are old designs that is why most of them are still mini usb. However, they are still super nice boards, way above any Akko boards. Don’t let the port turn you off, the build quality makes up for it in spades.
@@ryanvacation7319 I just don't want to have another different kind of cable. Most my devices are already usb-c so I can just switch around the cables if one fails. If a mini usb fails or gets damaged for whatever reason, I don't want the hassle of looking for that one cable.
I know this is an old video, and you might not know the answer, but every Leopold keyboard looks exactly the same as a Filco keyboard to me. Are there any major differences between the two brands?

I have it. Simply amazing. Much quieter and smoother than mx browns but still have a tactile feel. And comes $80 less than the other keyboards offering topre silent switches. The only con is the keycaps. Black on black is very hard to see.

I really don't mind much about the Mini-usb connection, the only thing that bother me is the kickstand is not that good ( especially on the FC660M/C ). I really hope Leopold will improve that in the future lol.

The FC660M has been my main typing keyboard for over a decade, I have half a dozen other keyboards, this layout is perfect.

The stabs on this board really surprised me, my custom GMMK still has some rattle after mods .__. If you lube these they will sound great!

Leopold and Durgod keyboards have the nicest construction quality of the OEM market. Varmillo doesn’t have such pristine soldering on their PCBs.

But I think the issue is that NKRO only operates on PS/2 on this board. At least that's what it says on Leopold's online manual.

Odd, Leopold lubes there stabs in there factory. You think they just used a small amount of lube, or you got one that was missed?
I also got the un-lubed one, surprisingly those stabs feel so good that i thought they are factory lubed .

If I am not wrong Leopold has low profile keys. How does Cherry MX Red feel compared to other keyboards?
Currently, have Corsair K65 with MX Reds and want to switch to Leopold with MX Speeds
MX Reds compared to speeds are pretty similar except speeds actuation a lot faster. It could result in more typos but you'll get used to it
I am annoyed that there is the space for page up/down and instead they left nothing there and put those layers. Otherwise looks great.

It’s no problem as long as your key caps are mx compatible which almost all key caps are.
