- What’s the secret to good health?
Don’t make it about weight loss or chasing any number. Don’t make it about single nutrients like carbs. Don’t make it about deprivation either. Health is multifactorial, so, collect data points on your day-to-day functionality, do a fitness assessment at home and adopt a commonsensical way of life. Eat local, seasonal, traditional food. Don’t forget to exercise or sleep on time. Make time to connect with friends and family, pursue what you do with all your heart. And vote for governments that prioritise walkable cities, clean air, water and protection of green spaces. No one is healthy, till all of us are.

Maam ifu raised and belong to another state or country n have shiftes to a new location,where season n staple foods are different then is eating local ok or stick to ur regular pattern?also if eating dinner by sunset is advisable,then can if hungry late at night can one eat raw unsoaked cashews or seeds just a little to take care of craving especially if u have diabetes bp where long hours of fasting sometimes is unbearable

Ma'am i am bengali and i always eat rice and wheat. Millett was never in my diet ..... this is including thev 2 generations before me. Should i start Millett? High fibre makes me gassy.
Absolutely not. Your gut doesn't know how to digest it. Gut bacteria are different in different people, it exists in different combinations. Your gut bacteria is handed down to you by generations before you. They didn't eat millets, their gut bacteria never knew how to digest millets. Therefore, your gut doesn't know either. You eat only what your grandparents ate. Bengal is traditionally a rice eating state, the weather isn't suitable for eating and digesting millets. Please consume only rice and wheat, you'll be fine. Hi mam I am Indian but I’m currently living abroad in UK for my studies. As per your suggestion should I still urge myself to eat Indian local seasonal food or should I adopt seasonal foods available here of their origin.

Do have atleast 1 meal related to your Traditional Indian like roti, sbzi, rice, daal etc... Balanced it well
Adapt local and seasonal vegetables available in the city/country you stay currently and also try to incorporate your Indian Traditional food.
