Kent State QB Dustin Crum
Senior 6’3 201 lbs
Crum put up gaudy numbers in Kent State's four-game season. He completed over 73 percent of his passes for 1,181 yards, 12 touchdowns and two interceptions. He also notched four rushing touchdowns and 240 ground yards.
Future nfl starter
Only in an isolated situation after the starters get hurt and if Dustin Crum develops in the NFL. Then you can be like "I knew it" lol
Scouting Report
Crum certainly has arm talent, and is really able to launch it downfield. An issue is that if his first read isn't open, he resorts to running. He clearly is athletic, but against faster and stronger defense, his running ability would be less effective to say the least. I also saw a bit of accuracy problems, even to wide open receivers. A lot of his throws should have been intercepted.
Bottom Line
-------------
He likely has potential to be a serviceable backup if a coach can help him work on his accuracy, reads, etc., and he has nice running ability and good arm strength. If he can't translate those talents, I don't see him becoming anything special.
We shall see. He plays Washington, Oklahoma, and Georgia this coming year
huge arm could be a good backup
Yep but it won't be easy
