Brendon u NEED to make a vid on how to follow cars and how to brake behind them. there are almost no videos about it and i dont know why because beginners have no idea how to race cleanly even if they want to. alot of them think that the breaking points are the same in race and in quali. race management in general would help out a lot of people and how braking zones change.

its mostly just letting go off the throttle earlier, and braking when they brake if u want to follow. Saves fuel n lets u stay in their slipstream while still having control of the car and if u want to overtake.

    Cool!
Hopefully in future we have vids for:
    - how to drive in wet conditions. i.e. braking/accelerate, change of gears
    - when to use ERS to get optimum result

Wanted to ask the same but i would ad how to change dry setup into a wet setup, that would be really helpful maybe also in a mixed conditions race. Thank you again for your advice 🤗

@@patrickschmitz2660 The most important thing is to change the wing for more downforce in the rain

    • @tropicF1
      @tropicF1 5 месяцев назад

No Esports driver hear but something that has worked for me is:
-Increase wings by 3-6 clicks up depending if inters or full wet
-in crease ride height by 4-7 clicks to avoid aquaplaning (the more height you have you can also lose some downforce)
-decrease tire pressure to have more contact with the track
-decrease differential to allow tires to rotate more freely but you have to be careful getting on throttle.
-soften the front suspension as well (not always just preference and driving style)
Notable mention: you can also have your rear wing be higher then your front wing for more rear stability but it also increases your chances of understeering again (preference according to driving style)
I hope this helps my friend!

No Esport driver here but this works for me:
-increase front wings and rear wings by 3-6 dependent on weather it is Inters or Full Wet
-Increase Front and rear ride height by 3-8 clicks to avoid aquaplaning also depending on conditions (the more height you have you can lose downforce.
-decrease tire pressures by a few clicks to increase contact with the track but optimal enough for tire temperatures.
-soften front suspension (not always depends on your style of driving)
-You can make your rear wing higher then your front wing for more rear stability at the expense of more understeer (driving style preference as well)
-decrease On and Off differentials for more individual rotation of the tires but be careful on getting on the gas.
I hope this helps my friend!

This is amazing! Another vid suggestion could be in Vision as well. What to look out for when approaching a corner and where you plan to place your car as vision is really important! I also saw someone say as well if you could make a video on the difference between Qualifying and Race Pace!
