    Thank you, Brendon, I started the F1 game from 2021, but still new to F1 games. I watched all your tutorial and track guide videos which are super helpful! Love that all! I watched your setup tutorial video many times, but the F1 car setup is so complicated that I have no idea how to start to adjust and evaluate.

    Thanks so much for all the tutorials Brendon! I highly appreciate all the details you provide us with. For me, I just started with a very basic sim setup. Just using the g920. But for now it's fine as I'm far away from a pro. It's the first time using a wheel and pedals for me anyway.
    Your video's already helped me a lot when trying F1 23 without any assists. Hopefully with time, practice and also patience I'll become a proper driver.
    Thanks again for all the effort and I'm looking forward for new tutorials. 💪🏼

    I never thought about the mid-session save feature 😂😂
    When I practice for races, I usually have 4 days for one league, and then 3 hours for another so this would be very helpful for the one where I have 3 hours. I usually just tend to load a setup in TT, get a feel for it then hop into a 50% race from the back to practice overtaking, and use a strategy I feel is good, and from that information, I go into the event with a few minor tweaks, not even knowing if it works.
    The one where I have 4 days is I mainly dothe same thing, just do a 50% race from the back each day, and maybe do a one-lap short quali to see what's one lap pace is like. Thanks Brendon for all the tips you provided!

    Amazing video,
    About the glitch with no force feedback on what situations exists, cause I ordered a DD for mainly F1 games (I know it’s not a sim but I play what I enjoy) and would be a same not to utilize it.
    Furthermore watching your videos did improve my times so thank you:)

    Thanks for the vid Brendon, another tip: put collisions OFF, this will allow you to not be distracted in qualy laps by the behavior of the AI
    Hope that helps :)

    • @pavelpetr4609
      @pavelpetr4609 5 месяцев назад

      It also helps during races if you adjust the AI level slightly higher than you pace, you need to be as consistent as possible without overdriving and find a way how to keep up with the AI that without colissions is also very competetive.

    Hey Brendon, I really appreciate this content as I don't hear a lot of drivers talking about this at all. Could you maybe go into what goes into developing this skill over time? I've been racing on F1 games for about 3 years now and I feel like my pace has plateaued to about a 1.5 seconds off WR times/ E-sport times. Is it just a matter of putting the time in and grinding to break that 1 second barrier? are there more efficient ways to get better/faster? is it realistic to think that all of us given enough practise can do e-sport times? what is a good mentality to have when it comes to this?

    Can you do a video about how to find your perfect setup, what settings needs to be changed in order to achieve more of something, how to manage tyres and temperature etc. I'm playing carreer mod with friends and I want to improve on that particularly because most of the time I catch the pole but during the race I spin and DNF, specially towards the end of the race. Might be the strategy that is wrong but I'm pretty sure I'm bad at tyre management and stuff.

    Is there any reason to go back to garage, not by using “return to garage” option in pause menu, but by turning back at track?
    To save in-game session time?
    Because if we want to save real-life time, I think it is much faster to use the pause menu option.

    • @BrendonLeigh
      @BrendonLeigh  5 месяцев назад +2

      Mostly corner mid speed is the hardest part of racing, try to carry more and more corner mid speed and that probably will help your times 💪 once the car starts to understeer you’ve gone to far, it’s easy to under drive the car at the apex creating a fake limit of grip

    • @5DNL5

      @@BrendonLeigh thx🙏 Should i try to brake later and see if that might help with the carried speed ?

    Hey Brendon, I currently only use cockpit view and only have a Logitech g29 setup with a ps4. Was wondering comparing to a pc setup with a nice set of wheel/pedals and using overhead instead of cockpit view how much time am I losing if the same driver was driving?? Thanks!

    • @cdoe2391
      @cdoe2391 5 месяцев назад

      P.S the main reason I think I lose time in cockpit besides the quality of gear is the FOV when approaching corners where the apex isn’t visible in single screen cockpit view until your almost at the apex for example turn 1 COTA.

    • @BrendonLeigh
      @BrendonLeigh  5 месяцев назад +1

      Technically in the game the grid is the same for all equipment and driving pov, but definitely in t cam it’s easier to be more consistent and the same applies with higher end wheels on the market.
      I would probably say with the t cam and a higher quality cockpit and pedals + wheel maybe 0.200 to 0.500 a lap time gain
