When I was a kid back in the 70s I had a pair of moccasins that the bottom was the exact material as the rest. Basically a leather sock. They were so comfortable. I would love to find some like that again.
I was hoping to hear something about moccasin soles for grounding. “Grounding” or “Earthing” is getting to be a hot topic and while the ideal method of grounding is removing your shoes and walking barefoot on the earth sometimes the ground is too rough for tender bare feet so a solution to that is grounding shoes. Moosehide soled moccasins would seem to be ideal for this. It’s a new market opportunity. The main thing is that people want a conductive material for grounding rather than an insulating material like rubber of some sort. It’s difficult to find shoes without rubber soles but moccasins with moosehide soles are ideal for grounding.
Question on sizing? I am looking at the Minnetonka softsole 703. How should they fit? I am usually a 11 1/2 in men’s shoes. Do you want them really snug or more like a fit of a shoe. Plus I plan on wearing them with socks in the winter and without in the summer :)
I want some with now tow lift or arch support. I have plantar fasciitis and walking barfoot is the best. When my feet are fully ingaged with the ground Im almsot pain free.
Moccasins are the best for wanting to be connected to the Earth! I would suggest buying a pair without soles on the bottom so you can have an even closer connection
Let me guess some college age white person said that? I stand by that the only possible wrong is not buying from a place that makes them locally instead of mass produced in a foreign country.

I have been told it may not be right to wear moccasins anymore if you are not Native American....oh well..
I've met a few tribemen who took issue with being called 'native american' but none yet who complained about my shoes.
@@tammyt3434 its hard to know anymore! People are angry even about shoe wearing at the moment oh well.
