    Made it and loves it. Changed my take on the cruise phase. It opened up some options for lunches! I used quark and think it mightve been the reason for bread to be slightly salty. Today im making it with cottage cheese and only half a teaspoon of salt. Will let u know if it was better. Might also try and make a gluten free one and use some of the suggestions others mentioned.

    I discovered your channel a few days ago. I subscribed immediately! You have a genuine approach to teaching that I like. I’m not a Dukan dieter, but I’ve used a lot of his recipes to incorporate in my diet regimen. I lost 40lbs on a low carb diet, but do not adhere to dismissing foods that have carbs that are beneficial to our health. I guess it’s my own diet for now. However, I do like to glean the good out of info that can aid in my uphill battle of the bulge. Thanks for your recipes, and time. Appreciating, and enjoying!

      Hi there! I have experimented for a long time with the ratio of oatbran. If you completely omit the wheatbran and swop it for oatbran the loaf is super heavy ... like a brick... the reason I add the wheatbran is to keep the texture light. I understand completely that some people are not able to use wheatbran but gluten free corn starch or milk powder can be used in stead but again it affects the texture of the loaf. If you use a third of a cup of each : corn starch, milk powder and something like physillium husks it is not bad BUT it adds a lot of tolerated items so you can have only one slice per day I think .. let me know if you managed to make it using a substitute as some viewers might be interested as well 😀

      Hi there. Sorry for the delay. I've used psyllium husks in my bread before but never such a large quantity. I also added extra liquid to the recipe if I use it and I let the loaf sit for 30 minutes before I put it in the oven. If you use psyllium husks instead of wheatbran the loaf will be a bit denser and heavier.       Hi there. Great question. On Dukan we never count carbs, calories or protein but I understand that Keto does and other diets. If you give me a few days and I can do some calculations for you as it will be an interesting exercise 😉 I'm sure the question might pop up again by another person, so it will be worth it.     Thanks so much for the recipe and instructions! ☺️ I would love to try the recipe :) Is there anything I could substitute the wheat bran for that would be gluten free? I am a celiac. Thanks in advance for the help!

      Hi there ! That's a tricky one. You can use 3 cups of oatbran and eliminate the wheatbran altogether. However you will definitely end up with a much denser and heavier loaf. This was the original recipe and the reason I used the wheatbran was to create a lighter texture without adding flour. If you do decide to use only oatbran then you need to adjust the portion size too. Eg. If you're on cruise phase then only one slice per day if portioned into 16 slices. Hope this helps.

    Would i be able to use skyr yogurt, instead of the cottage cheese?

      Yes I would imagine it will also work. It might not keep as long then and go hard and dry sooner. The consistency of the Skyr is very different to cottage cheese (a lot denser) so you would have to reduce the amount of water 💧 😉 exactly by how much I don't know. You could try half the amount (60ml). If you make it please 🙏 let us know how it turned out because other viewers might want to try your version as well.

      Ofcourse ! If you look at the Chocolate and Goji berries Muffin recipe .. video no.3 I think just pour that into the loaf tin. It should work. Not sure what temperature and how long. Will need to experiment with that.
