You really only used the Rennkompressor to seat the tyre? Have you used the standard valve which comes with the wheel too? Looking to switch the front to this, will be the first tubeless for me.

That's true. First installation and only with this shopfloor pump. I have as well purchased the 26 mm version and will see how this will pop on the rims. To your second question. Those are the standard presta valves. I have as well good experience with the Project 76 and Filmore valves from Reserve. Here you don't need to remove cores from the valves (basically you can't remove them). The downside is that their cores are not stadard, so if you broke them you have a problem. For Project 76 you can replace it, but for Filmore the entire valve replacement. the 76 I broke one, therefore went back to standard on the wheel you see in the video. Filmore is so far OK, run them on my Scalpel.

Hi do you think will have good performance and overall grip not for TT, just regular road?
    Thanks

Hi, I’m using them for normal road cycling. Important is the pressure settings. For that I’m using the Silca calculator. If all conditions met then this tyre is not worse if compared to the 5000 S TR.

@@Bayker-yp1rd good to know, just not sure if will last around str 5000 or tt 5000 and best use is front or front rear
I suppose more easy to puncture..

Use it only as a front tyre. Has little to no benefit on the rear. In terms of wear and puncture resistance, you won’t be disappointed. At least I very satisfied.

How much sealant should I use? I could not understand why in the video he emptied a syringe and then added from a bottle. Is that all the same sealant?

In the syringe was the sealant from the previous tire. We should behave responsible and not being wasting. Usually after reusing the old sealant I'm adding the Silca replenisher. Silca has a two step sealant. About the quantity. I use for 30 mm tire about 60 ml of the sealant.

@@Bayker-yp1rd I didn’t think about re-using the sealant from the older tire. Great idea! Thank you very much!
