I want a horde of mutated iguanas to chase after me in this mod, otherwise it will not be an authentic Florida experience.
As a floridian I agree with this.
Man if there's any Vaults I'll be excited to see them.
I think the reveal trailer showed some footage of a Vault.

@@fumarc4501 200 years of storms hurricanes exedra! everything under the ground is probably underwater. Vaults would half to be watertight. Thow It would be fun to explore a flooded Vault. Like One day a hurricane hits and the seals on a vaults door falled. and water starts Poring in which Leeds to the vaults demise

No, voice is a lot closer to classic fallout. Paired with the script extender for more dialogue options, and you've got one heck of a game going.
No, I want a voiced protagonist. It suits FO4. Since Miami is just like a DLC to Fallout 4. Also, voiced protagonists give life to a character.
@@subhankarbaral9236 Then pull out your wallet and go pay the guy and gal who did the Fallout 4 protagonist voice to voice all of these new lines.

@@subhankarbaral9236 you do realise that it is a mod and they don't have money to hire VAs and even if they had they would never be able to imitate voices of Nate and Nora and it would feel awkward. Plus it would limit dialogue options. Silent protag is infinitely better tbh, Fallout always been that way. it's not Witcher or Mass Effect.
@@OCTO358 doesn't mean it should never come to fallout, yes it was failed in fallout 4 but it could still be done well... however here is the thing Bethesda has never been good at telling stories(outside of maybe fallout 3) and a voiced protag is more about story telling, so I don't think Bethesda would ever get that right.
As someone who was born in Miami, I felt like going back home after seeing this. It still felt nostalgic even with the 50's vibe and broken down buildings that you've come to expect from Fallout. I'm glad that the pools with ugly tiles are also being included cause I saw a great deal of those as a kid too, then again who didn't. lol
Silent main character doesn't matter. fallout 3 and new vegas were silent but had amazing dialogue choices. excited!
I love the lifeguard bot. Creative and entertaining. It'd be hilarious if, when you eat where they can see you and try to go into the water, they chase after you rattling off "Do not swim after consuming".
I can't wait to see what's next for the mod! Everything seems great so far.
Is it normal to get a reminiscent feeling of the FO3 DLC Point Lookout?
Just based on the WIP footage alone gave such Nostalgic vibes.
Of course it's brighter, and far more detailed, but still.
Definitely normal : )

I started a new play through in F04 using a lot of Enclave themed items including the stuff from the Enclave Settlement mod released a little while ago. I am rebuilding the Commonwealth in the Enclaves image.

Awesome update guys, I personally think seasonal updates make it more special, so I think it's better that way.
Also the silent protagonist was the right choice
I might be one of the few people who liked the voiced protagonist, but I'll happily accept the silent one if it means I can have a vacation from all this raiding :D
A silent protagonist ruins the whole experience it's dumb theyre just as lazy as Bethesda
I know why they are doing it but I like it more with the voice it feels like it's involved in the conversation.

Needs some mutant walking catfish. Could base it loosely on the gulper.
We barely have catfish in Miami. Dolphins and Jellyfish are more proper.
Oh and peacocks! Plus those suckers can be mean.

We already have the dolphin shark carcasses in the game, so that could work, and jellyfish might be an interesting choice, at least as water only critters, but walking catfish are already a thing in real life, they were imported to Florida (and other places) from Thailand back in the 1960's, and they are a *very* invasive species. They can already breathe both air and water, and can 'walk/slither' on dry land, so what do you think will happen after 200 years of evolution, radiation, and FEV?

Side note, the fathers build nests and protect their young. They love to eat, and use their whiskers to help them find and grab food, since they prefer the dark and murky places. So, maybe a Gulper with Cthulhu tentacles on its face?
Peacocks huh? That could be interesting... not sure what model would make a good base, but that has potential.

The voice over was perfectly done. Extremely professional sounding. ANyhow. Beyond that. I can't wait for this mod. Between this, Capital Wasteland, and New Vegas I'm excited.
Silent protagonist is a good move, the project is getting interesting.
Why is this team better than Bethesda
Because they are not greedy and they are giving fans what they want.
Well are they? They dont have to build from scratch, and doing Frontend is easier than Backend.
Tought I will say they are building a better map and Factions right now :)

Every time you guys post an update, the project just keeps looking better and better :D
The amount of effort and thought that goes into it... feels like a full-fledged DLC. All of the contributions so far have been fantastic, and taking Fallout away from the MidWest / NorthEast is a great idea.
Especially the city areas feels so soothing

Everything about this is so amazing. I live in Florida and this really has that Floridian vibe to it. Only things missing are Iguanas and Pythons (those things are a plague here) and some birds like Herons and Spoonbills.
Take all the time you need! A great product made with love is much better than a rushed one. Keep up the amazing work! Can't wait to try it. :D

I'm so glad y'all moved to seasonal updates. That whole thing about not having assets ready for presentation in each monthly update was one of my biggest concerns, as nice as it was to see updates every month. Excited to see what y'all have gotten up to by the end of summer!

I missed these monthly doses, but this more than cured the Detox... the Annoucement "silent protagonist" alone could not leave me happier, I was hoping you would go that route! As I have grown accustomed to with you guys, the bits of lore and story we get via these updates, really feel like they belong in the World and History of Fallout, your creative team proves once again, that it has a finger on the pulse of Fallout and a love for the franchise, which makes me very exited for this project´s future. Keep up the great work...and I guess it is back to waiting for my next "fix".

Man there are so many giant Bethesda mods in the works. Between this, Skywind, Skyblivian, and Capital Wasteland it'll certainly be pretty cool if even one comes out.

Okay, so I haven't seen the video yet, but looking through the description and seeing "uzi animations" made me extremely hyped.
Love the work you're all doing, I like unvoiced protagainst becausei t allows me to mentally put myself in their shoes more and allows me to make a voice in my head how they deliver certain lines/choices without having to worry about something lieke: [Sarcasm]="Wanna go for round 2! BRING IT ON!" (Kellogg in nick's body for a moment after you get the info where Shaun is).

Is there a chance that bullets pierce through walls without VATS as a mechanic for players to use .50 Caliber to use against enemies who are behind cover?
There is likely no support in the game engine unfortunately, but I have no idea

The Dreamers are going to be my fav faction I can already tell.
Also personally I prefer the idea of the sole survivor not having a voice. It allows me to read it myself, in my own voice.
I didn't catch it: who ARE the Dreamers supposed to be?
@@EmTheyErasedMyHandle Most likely a Hotline Miami reference, although I could be wrong. In Hotline Miami the main character is part of a group of vigilantes/murderers that wear animal masks.
