Hi. I tried installing a happymodel ep2 express lrs external rx in mine and cant get the Serial Rx to save in ports on betaflight. When I set it, it just reverts to disabled every time . I have set the Receiver to Serial and Crossfire in the receiver section. Any ideas? I cant even get the soft serial that I want to use to have VTX smart audio on to save either.
The switch to ExpressLRS receiver was a success, but now the video range is crappie. Do you have any idea why this can be? Thank you for the video, was helping me a lot!
Probably because of the way the board manages the power distribution. Over the years that the mobula6 has been around, happymodel has released some crazybee lite updates, mine is version 2.1 and I had no range problems after soldering the receiver. Maybe your case is one of the old versions. Sorry I can't be of more help than that.
Make sure your iron is hot enough and try leaded solder as I used to use unleaded and nothing would go to pads or anything. Did you manage to get it working?

Hi mate, thanks for vid, i have inverted 1 IR1 , do i ignore that and just use RX1
im sure my elrs is non inverted, happymodel
Use rx1 for crossfire and ELRS, left the inverted for frsky receivers and any other sbus protocol

What aio is this I’m planning on getting a mobula and aparantly they swapped the aio to a crazybee is it still compatible with this?
This is the crazybee from the old mobula 6, the first one released. Crazybee f4 frsky

ON the FC Manual it says RX1 and IR1. I assume IR1 is the TX1 pad?
Nope, use tx-rx, rx-tx, and avoid inverted pads

Dude, I am no longer using that because is too heavy. Using double sided tape. I dont remember where I found 😕
