This song is an incredible work of art. The power of hip hop to be able to communicate something as simple as the feeling of driving down the road to the complicated subject becoming a type 3 civilization, with so much artistry is just incredible. This song should be studied at universities. I literally can pause after every bar and Google the line and it will take me down a rabbit whole of stupendous education.
Still one of my favourite songs of all time. I have to come back and listen to it every year or so every time I catch myself saying the lyrics. These words are permanently engrained in my mind they are so iconic and will last with me for the rest of my life. Truly a beautiful work of art that this song even exists. I'll never stop listening.
Peace. I'm late Fam but I was watching your interview 8 years ago and black Atheism. I'm not quite there. I believe there was a Divine consciousness but it's definitely not a book and doesn't have petty human emotions or a gender. I'm free from Religion and I feel better about myself and my life. Meditation has helped heal me from my pain. At the end of the day we have to take accountability for our actions and not depend on religion.

The unfortunate part to this is people still have a stigma when it comes to the term atheist. Even people who are off the charts wild still profess a god or jesus. That is the problem when you come out and say there has been no valid evidence presented that any Gods exist. People like to believe there is a god regardless of what that god may be and disagree and still pushback too much to people that don't have any evidence for one. I used to be a street preacher for years and have become an atheist the last few years and see the same issue on the opposite side now.
"At scales like this, I find it troubling. How can I describe one branch when there are other limbs" ......I do tree work for a living and when I first heard this song this bar blew my mind completely lol
Only discovered this song a few weeks ago, turns out just in time for a sick music video! Definitely a new fan of Greydon Square, such unique and awesome themes in your songs.
The universe is so massive and yet instead of trying to explore this universe we worry about what happens with ourselves and what happens on this earth. There's no honesty, no trust, no love, no emotions.
I heard one his cuts a few years ago, and bro turned on a switch in my head. So, I put it off , but as of recently. I'm talking this week. Brotha popped up , and I've been bumpin bro slappers. Much luv and respect. Gave me a different view of things.💯💪
It gives me a feeling of comfort to know Greydon is present in this reality. Like a light of kinship in an empty void. In this time of unraveling, we need dudes like him to inspire us to reach forward. Fear has turned us into the wardens of our siblings, but forgiveness and trust can set us free, yet it takes courage to embrace it.
You and K-Rino really opened my mind to the incredible versatility of rap across genres - specifically SciFi. You well deserve every accolade you get man.
One of the first songs that lead me to the discovery of your music when type 2 was dropping. Still one of my top favorites! Thank you for everything you do for the fans and your never ending stride for greatness. Epic video!
And he's a nice fella. I used to yap at him from time to time when I used Facebook. Most rappers put out a larger than life persona, but grey is super approachable, he's just him. I'm stoned af and forgot where I was going with that.
Finally a video for my favorite song of yours! This is awesome on so many levels! And thank you so much for the lyrics and all the links in the description, I'm gonna binge watch this shit! :)
I throw on Spotifys suggested radio and this absolute gem came through and I was hooked at the first verse. I have no idea how you're this slept on man. You have more depth in one line than most shit on the radio. Glad I found you!
@@greydonsquare I've been binging your songs since last night and today and I absolutely love how you incorporate atheism into your songs with science to back it. I'm hooked man
Excellent! Here you get a glimpse of Grey's musical evolution. Look at his earlier work and you'll find an emphasis on critical thinking aimed at religion. Although that part of him probably isn't gone (and why should it be gone?), the creation of scientifically literate music is apparent in this piece. I predict we'll see an even larger evolution in his future songs.
🤕What did I just listen to? That was like sitting through an AP Science class I have no business being in. As dope as it was I’m confused to the point my head hurts a little…gotta listen again😁
I’m feeding my 5 month old son and just turned this on for him to learn the secrets of the universe. I love your words and message - those strange attractors found you. From the noise, your consciousness is a beacon.
...Started at the foam as a quantum burst
On a journey from the planck through the omniverse
the shortest distance you can travel at the speed of light
watch me take the same path as the neutrino’s flight
...shot forward, zooming past the top quark
where the space-time and energy roads do not fork
I've been slept on like the electron
...west born, home of the place they’ll leave your chest warm
...photonic crystals are my playthings
rap at this scale spoken at gamma ray wavelengths
blaze beats, on my way to H3
unstable combustible isotopes at great heat
fluid like a mickey mouse molecule
breaking down all atomic rules on the follow through
...i traverse the alpha helix
on the way to complex chemistry you’re bound to see it
..deoxyribonucleic secrets in the deep end
As I keep the beat and sow the seeds of reason
the only heathen that can bring you cell replication
shoot questions dead through the barrel of investigation
separation, 2 strands
introduce RNA into the sequence, then you’ll get a new hand
...puffin cheeba with amoeba
debating which came first, consciousness or the creature
with tapeworms
cannabis tea poured from Russell’s teapot
to toast, to every person to ever win an EGOT
pack a stadium, the size of a coliseum
skyscrapers, high risers, tetrahedrons
...give me a beat and an ounce of leaf
and i’ll show you things from the crease of the mountain peaks
stay artful as I chop countries to state parcels
leave the planet completely, become a space Marshal
on the red planes exploring the mars dunes,
scrutinize asteroid debris, and small moons
who you talkin to? i spit the cold fission
visit every world near then leave solar system
only one of many
all the space in between here and there is cold and much of it is empty
still come across a nebula or two
a couple of parsecs and we’ve only gone a few
the void we launch into, from Orion's arm
Starships, galaxy class we’re flying on
galactic following barely known in the local group
training all alone near large voids evoking truth
take it in, let it sober you
as we go out to get a better seat of the overview
an ocean of space engulfing you,
...with so many super-clusters they’re singular in multitude
Every single one from Leo to Pavo-Indus
I’ve traveled it all from Columba to Ophiuchus
...i break jaws with the great wall,
of galaxies and filaments that would face all
one existence of distances that you might fear
from end to end that’s over a billion light years
in a sea of universes it’s a bubble in,
and this is from a human’s perch at the Hubble length
...at scales like this I find it troubling,
how can I describe one branch, when there are other limbs
fleeing singularities while they’re doubling
coming out to face a multiverse right in front of him
...nowhere to hide, the vast smothers him
a Graham's number of giga-parsecs to the upper rim
hyper realms absent temporal cause
every unique cosmic set with different physical laws
Plus every species capable of computation
probably has supercomputer run simulations
...with a population trying to explain it
with its own Dr. Gates, and its own language
...dirty windshields hinder our comprehension
while tracking down great attractors, aiming for ascension
from here, the multiverses look like sheets of paper
in a library of books near the speed of lasers
...xeno-structures that are even greater,
built from every fundamental thing you’d see in nature
...at a hyper glance you wouldn’t even notice
the beauty of the balance damn they should have sent a poet
...the omni, the top of the hierarchy
.where all modes are in play, even the AUM probably
...cyclical birth life and death
of whole entire cosmos where your old life’s a speck
...of probability, swallowed by infinity
existing longer than all cosmological history
It's so much easier to appreciate the lyricism when u see it written out
Phenomenal 👌🏼😤

Only discovered this song a few weeks ago, turns out just in time for a sick music video!
Definitely a new fan of Greydon Square, such unique and awesome themes in your songs.
Thank you so very much. I try to provoke thought among the intellectual.
Thank you so much my friend
It gives me a feeling of comfort to know Greydon is present in this reality. Like a light of kinship in an empty void.
In this time of unraveling, we need dudes like him to inspire us to reach forward.
Fear has turned us into the wardens of our siblings, but forgiveness and trust can set us free, yet it takes courage to embrace it.
Thank you. I really appreciate that. Have you been in our discord? discord.gg/CBgcb3
This is the album I’m playing at my house while cooking all day. Loud af too. I already told my fam they’re welcome 😜
Jenn Xeno you're a great DJ
Just as amazing as today on his 42nd as it was the day it was recorded. Happy birthday Greydon.
Epic video!
Wasn’t expecting this, but I am thankful.
Notifications ftw.
They actually worked for me?
Greydon Square
Seems that way. Keep ‘em coming!
this is sick.
Thank you discord.gg/greydonsquare
Found your name in a RUclips comment of some dude saying you the goat. Glad I decided to randomly look you up. Shits dope
Wow, thank you so much. Whoever said that, thank them as well.
And he's a nice fella. I used to yap at him from time to time when I used Facebook. Most rappers put out a larger than life persona, but grey is super approachable, he's just him. I'm stoned af and forgot where I was going with that.
@@badascan8910 Wherever you were going, you've arrived. Thank you.
This music video is now one of my favourite things.
Thank you so much. discord.gg/GrandUnified

Let's chop it up on there
Thank you for brightening my life.
Yes I found an actual fellow alien brother 💚
Feels like that doesn't it? lol
What a masterpiece. Thanks for making a music video of this. Beautiful!
Can’t wait for type 4.
🤕What did I just listen to? That was like sitting through an AP Science class I have no business being in. As dope as it was I’m confused to the point my head hurts a little…gotta listen again😁
:) thank you so much

I’m feeding my 5 month old son and just turned this on for him to learn the secrets of the universe. I love your words and message - those strange attractors found you. From the noise, your consciousness is a beacon.
