I'm a Physics and Math postgrad, and I've always liked rap. But eventually (especially as you get older) the content gets very repetitive and shallow, despite how good the beat sounds and how clever the lyrics are. Greydon Square was an amazing find for me, especially this track. I'm actually inspired by the lyrics, and in many ways it reminds me of why I wanted to study physics, and science generally, in the first place. I listen to this both when I'm working out, and when I'm studying. He explores the intricacy and immensity of the universe and beyond in one short rhyme. I'm pleasantly surprised by his scientific literacy. And to compact it into a rap like this takes something beyond just talent. Thank you so much for making this tune, it might be my favourite track of all time. Also, props for the Contact reference, which happens to be my favourite film of all time.

Greydon Square is probably the only rapper where people can get their Physics, Chemistry and Astrophysics studying done and listen to rap at the same time. This probably may not resonate with 99% of rap fans or even astrophysicists (since how many Neil deGrasse Tyson-types listen to rap music anyway...or would want to listen to rap about their speciality for that matter), but it's still a work of art attempting to write such intricate rhymes about science and the universe: "... Started at the foam as a quantum burst/On a journey from the planck through the omniverse/The shortest distance you can travel at the speed of light/Watch me take the same path as the neutrino’s flight." I kinda slept on this song a bit mostly because it doesn't possess that typical Greydon burst of energy and robust delivery as seen on other songs. The Westside Connection "Gangsta Nation" influence is very apparent on this beat in those church organs; after all, Greydon Square is influenced by most 90s L.A. groups. But, does anybody actually remember WSC, Ice Cube's failed revival attempt of N.W.A with some fake OGs like Mack 10 and WC (they're more obscure now than the Chia Pet). But, back to this track and its well-written and awe-inspiring lyrics: "Photonic crystals are my playthings/Rap at this scale spoken at gamma ray wavelengths/Blaze beats, on my way to H3/Unstable combustible isotopes at great heat." I'm sorry to say but I really don't believe most of Greydon's fanbase will comprehend any of this, let alone WSC whose intelligence was limited to 'all-things-weed'. "Separation, 2 strands/Introduce RNA into the sequence, then you’ll get a new hand/Puffin cheeba with amoeba." At "cheeba", okay now WSC is on the same page as you. The level of vocabulary and scientific knowledge that Greydon possesses couldn't possibly be better illustrated than "Omniverse." It's a marvel of a track, one that won't ever get the appreciation it deserves, unlike Bow Down (song) and other dumbed-down WSC singles concocted in the form of gangsta rap.
