Your lyrics and rap style are just epic. Every time I listen it strikes a deep chord. Thank you Greydon Square! Keep on doing what you're doing, & future generations will thank you too.
When I stumbled upon this piece of music, I wondered - how come it is not known to broader audience? Why was it so accidental that I got here? And then it hit me - It’s because you speak the truth…
Dude I had no idea about Carl Sagan before you put him in this song... What a wonderfully intelligent man that we all can still learn from even after his death...
I really like this video. I just heard about you a few days ago. I'm probably not the usual demographic (middle-aged white woman) but I like some rap music, especially yours. I'm an atheist, too. I consider myself a Pagan, because I believe in nature, meaning that I value the real world and what I see and experience. I don't believe that deities are real, but I see their value as mythology and as archetypes. Now I'm off to listen to more of your songs.
Not even the non-existent god could have thought he could one day see a rap video with Carl Sagan in it.... Your work is really fantastic and great thank you because you prove once and for all that one does not have to be a Oxford Professor to be an Atheist!
This is amazing. You are truly talented. You have the ability to speak truth in such a fluent manner that I didn't even think was possible. Your beats and video making skills are impressive too. It's hard to find quality atheist rap but as more and more people wake up the more this kind of music comes to light and has a future. That gives me hope. Thank you greydonsquare.
Woah if you listen to this whole song backwards, you can completely avoid feeling uncomfortable about your beliefs because you won't have to hear all the amazing points and rhymes in the song while still believing it's devil music. 10/10 I wish more people heard this, also mad respect for plugging Carl Sagan
It's amazing that so many black people can subscribe to the religion that enslave there grand grandfather/ancestors... that's my opinion/interpretation of your lyrics. Your lyrics really mean something! Thanks! /white-guy-from-Sweden
Amazing Greydon. Not only is it a great rap and great beat but also it's informative. You're my favorite rapper today and I share your work through all my social media accounts. Keep up the good work buddy thank you for what you do.
"1st time hearin' Greydon Square, wut gravitated me 2 watch thiz video wuz Carl Sagan." Glad u posted tha pic of Sagan or I wudn't of even listened 2 tha track & hear ur rhymes; thiz track goin str8 on tha god'z ipod! Peace 2 Greydon Square; dope track star, ima listen 2 mo' trackz!
your lyrics are just amazing. listening to most of the popular (rap) music these days you don't need much of a brain to get it but I like to use mine and get a thrill from stuff like this. respect!
You're everything I thought (mainstream) would evolve to. To balance out the little Waynes and Young thugs of the world. I enjoy your material. Very deep stuff
MAN,I started Listen to few of your songs starting with "The N word",then "Stocklom sindrom" and now this and now I can't sleep,my mind totally spinning but you got my respect and I mean it MAN,greetings from Croatia
+Greydon Square Thank you for giving us quality hip hop. There are very few hip hop artists who actually have substance in their music. It's also very apparent that you put you all into you music & I appreciate that, as an ex-lyricist. Keep representing for the free thinkers! 👾
As a black female atheist myself, religious African-Americans who DEFEND their religion really piss me off. It's like what was depicted in the video; the same religion they'll shout and stomp and testify to in church on sundays is the very same religion that was used to enslave our ancestors centuries ago. It really IS Stockholm Syndrome; defending the very thing that made you a victim in the first place. It makes me sad and angry. . .all my love and best wishes to you Greydon! And thank you.
wow. i never expected to see someone who had never heard of Carl Sagan before. If you can, check out a series done by him called "Carl Sagans-cosmos", i have them all and love having them on when I want to relax. he was one trully amazing guy.
Dude, this is one of your best. Wish there were more consciousness raising hip hop out there like this. So tired of "me! Me!" Rappers and party pop bullshit
Actually there is plenty of consciousness raising Hip Hop. I like Greydon and he's one of many. The question I have to ask is where have you been looking? Mainstream media IS NOT the end all/be all of media.
If you're looking for good music on the radio you ain't gunna find it. You're just gunna get more mindless "turnt up" party jams and mumble rap, cuz that's what the industry wants to push right now.
You're better then most of the rappers out there now. Love most of your songs(especially prison planet). Gives me hope more will start making music for atheists. When I look back on most of the songs I used to love, 90% say something about god. Its kinda ridiculous once you recognize it...
@Abeaver99 Check out "Through the wormhole" a documentary series with Morgan Freedman. In the first video they introduce a fellow who is very close to having a "TOE", or theory of everything. He has been able to find out how to piece gravity into the "web", tho they are still debating his findings, its defiantly interesting new ground.
ok i FEEL u..im not sure what to say..but ill keep exploring...BUT I believe ifeel u and completely understand....this year will be another interesting year...all i can think of is y2k...we R all so easily persuaded and follow...for safety...because of fear...RATHER THAN LOVE......
Hey Greydon, I love your music, I am a Christian myself, and I totally disagree with your religious views, and I don't want that to get between us at all, but I do like your rhymes, beats, and I really like the way you think and how smart you are (outside of religion). It would be a pleasure to me if you can reply back to this man, love you no homo :)
+Mid West No worries my friend. We don't have to believe in the same origins in order to respect each other. And I respect that you are able to get past our fundamental positional disagreements in pay respect to my craft. I truly appreciate that bro. I work very hard to make music to make my listeners think, so if that was achieved with you, then I am happy. So no worries homie, it's all good.
Holy fucking shit I forgot all about writing this. I am the original poster behind "Mid West". I wrote this when I just turned 15 on a throwaway account. I'm 20 now. Looking back on it you can tell it was written by an 8th grader lol. After indulging in the hard sciences, I repudiate political ideologies, organized religion, and deism. All facets where critical thinking is abandoned. I too am an atheist now. Just goes to show you that dogmatic faith is dying or dead already, and my belief was the result of what my parents chose for me. See what I did there?
I'm hugely into science and even more so into hip hop, so it's priceless to find such a great artist like yourself. Is there anyway I could get a signed copy of TKS? I'll pay extra for it since it's signed and I'm in the UK. Also, I'm going to see Immortal Technique in November and I'll be meeting up with him, I'm giving him a few of your tracks on a CD and hopefully he checks you out.
I'm normally a black metal/death metal guy, but this cat's a bad ass.
Keep doing what you're doing, Greydon.
Man about time Atheist have a voice in hip hop, props!
Your lyrics and rap style are just epic. Every time I listen it strikes a deep chord. Thank you Greydon Square! Keep on doing what you're doing, & future generations will thank you too.
this is one of those songs that i would need with me if i was stranded on a desert island. fuck it, need the whole album.
+mzkim1223 Thanks man, much appreciated.

Dude I had no idea about Carl Sagan before you put him in this song... What a wonderfully intelligent man that we all can still learn from even after his death...
Future atheists, humanists, naturalists, and rationalists will look back at your music and marvel at how you are way ahead of your time.
I really like this video. I just heard about you a few days ago. I'm probably not the usual demographic (middle-aged white woman) but I like some rap music, especially yours. I'm an atheist, too. I just discovered this guy and I am hooked!
Be quite, open your eyes, and listen to this song. Best message on a rap song I had ever heard so far.
When I listen to him, I feel more at ease...sometimes you feel like the only sane person in a crazy world
Greydon, you're a boss.
Inspirational rhymes with substance.
Much nice, very wow.
Dope beat + sick rhyme = WIN
Not even the non-existent god could have thought he could one day see a rap video with Carl Sagan in it....

So great to see someone putting the truth to great beats. Shoutout from the woods of missouri we hear ya!
By far the most intelligent and well thought out rhymes I've ever heard, well done man this is sick.
I really love the music and the videos are becoming more and more awesome. It's a perfect pairing, the song itself and the chosen imagery.
I can't go a day without listening to your music bro, truly great stuff.

Your production values are outstanding. Excellent stuff.
It is far better to grasp the universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring. -Carl Sagan

''and I totally disagree with your religious views,'' Google, use it.
he's not just smart.. he lives in reality. You should try to consider WHY he thinks this way... in the meantime, keep listening to good music. :)
