There is nothing like the Iver’s videos. Good job Reese. No cameraman can make a good movie without a great cast. Being the movie is about Farming completes the deal. I rate them 4 stars !
3750 acres in approx 30 days running 200 + bushel corn with 1 combine and 1 grain cart is impressive! . For the stupid questions concerning real speed, every operator sets the reel speed so it comes down over the bean plant and knocks it on the belt according to the speed there running, and that usually is set automatically . Certain bean varieties do shatter worst than others when the real hits them. George and the whole Ivers group are certainly professionals at what they do , and videos do make the real appear to run faster. It takes a lot of time to make these videos and post them so sure they can’t answer every question and shouldn’t have to. As a farmer myself just enjoy there video’s as what I have seen you all are very fortunate to even be able to view the farming operation.
3 truths of combines 1 they all cost a lot of money 2 they all do a good job if set properly 3 they all cost a lot of money Wish we could meet Garrett but totally respect his privacy And as always STAY SAFE!!!
It is great to see Reese in the combine. Also, it was nice to see everyone having their camera time in this episode. Thanks for sharing your x9 experience with us.
You Ivers boys are the best on RUclips as far as agtubers go. For those of us who do farm, we see the effort. We see the stands, how clean fields are. And it shows in the yields. On top of that, I think y’all are good people. And that’s what matters to us farmin folks! Reece! On the cover crop, you have to be patient. It’s probably a combination of fertility and you lost moisture to the cover crop. It takes a couple of years before it’s noticeable. Once that organic material gets where it’s a balanced act you’ll see the difference. Even on a dry year.
@@tomcander3669he may have the most subscribers but he’s not nearly as good as the Ivers boys. Not even close. Besides these boys farm 5 times the acres mf’er does.

We have a x9 but only run corn and wheat because we do not grow beans. Love it in corn and in wheat as well we traded a 9240 for it the sample is great in corn as well
Can’t wait for the AF-10 to come out on the CaseIH side to see a comparison between it and the X9. Seems like you guys would be the ideal candidates to give those machines a true side by side showdown
I have a new 380 that 3 weeks ago the high pressure valve was tripping and then stuck in limp mode, after changing thousands of dollars in parts, a kink was found in the return to tank line.
I know of a hutterite colony had 2 x9 one the main hydraulic pump crap out it going to cost 400000 dollars to fix it they have to put all new orbit motor and all the oil lines in .
In the Texas Panhandle cover crops result in a yield loss. But we are usually making 280 continuous corn without a cover crop. Some believe in a cover crop being better. I think the most corn with less water is important because our water table is falling several feet each year. It takes 2" to start the cover and several more to replace water, and nutrients for the corn crop.
Thanks to David for pointing out the difference in size of both the red and green combines and how they can't really be compared for capacity, since the red one is a class 9 and the green one is a class 11.
we had dry conditions this year, we put air compressor on service truck and blew EVERYTHING out about every two hours and it kept us going.Changed filters daily................ misuse of the blower by the operator is why nobody brings him lunch ever again
Looking forward to tillage videos... i really like them... hate to say it but that JD seems to be a good machine... wonder how the sample would be in corn..
I wonder how the 1100 would handle an average crop of beans with an acceptable ground speed pushing a 60 foot Honeybee or a 62 foot GTS Brazilian head.
Poor Jay getting blasted with the throat blower by Dennis was epic (and funny)… I laughed out loud both times Reese showed it in this video! If I understood David correctly, the problem with his combine was a loose ground wire? WOW!!! As for the X9 110 -vs- Case IH 9250; not really a true comparison since they are different class combines. The X9 1100 should be able to harvest more crop, faster because of more hp and more capacity. I heard that Case IH will be coming out with a larger combine soon so then you can do another comparison test. Great video as always… 👍👍

I've been through High Pressure relief messing up on truck. 3 new pressure relief, then new common rail that comes with pressure relief so now 4 pressure relief still same problem. Ran overlay harness as a bypass no fix. End up putting new ECM problem fixed but that took 3 months to get one. I ran it hard on chassis dyno to make sure it was fixed 100% load for 45 mins while recording all. Before finally fix code would pop up after 5 mins each time on dyno
Just curious why you guys run your real so fast in beans? I heard a lot of beans hitting the cab windshield. Unless it’s just the video on why it looks so fast.
The X9's are good on corn and beans. Just ask Mike Mitchel up in Canada about how the X9 is in his crops. kept plugging up the back end. He had to switch to his S models to get his Lentils harvested
Actually, the only time Mike's X9 started to plug is when he was doing lentils. When he was doing wheat, he didn't plug at all. And he did plug a little when they were doing canola. However, he had the same with the Fendt Ideal 9 combines as well. From what I've been told, lentils and canola are a hard crop to cut along with sunflowers. Dave, you're right, the Deere X-9 is a machine that will do some work. All you have to do is make the numbers work which is hard to do between colors. At the end of the day it comes down to who is going to give you the best service year in and year out. It's that reason and that reason only that Fendt is making such a splash entering the US market.
That was a "Dirty" trick Dennis. Jay more than earned that pulled pork sandwich. David, did you get docked for the X9 uncleanish beans. Maybe JD is adopting the "if it weighs it pays" philosophy. The X9 can eat! There appeared to be much more material feeding across the head compared to the McDs. Did you use the Combine Adviser features? If you guys would start dragging chains from each combine, you would have fewer problems with dust and static electricity. It would also make bearings last longer.
"6 gen Farmer" run a J.D. combine, it had to go to the shop, so they had their neighbor harvest some beans for them with their Case, it was a lot cleaner than what the JD could do.
It has to be so frustrating paying that much for a new machine and then having it plagued with sensor issues. Not sure if the X9 is the solution though because they have their share of problems too. Either way hope you get everything figured out and get everyone running 100%
