It's easy to get dub plates when you're a legend like Rodigan.
And as much I love A$AP, they were out as soon as Rebel Sound played that Shabba dub plate of Ferg's song in the first round
Yeh rebel sound killed it but you have to realize they are playing to a home crowd playing classic hits and edits of classic tracks that the audience recognizes, plus toasting culture in the UK is great at hyping crowds which the young ASAP crew is still learning.
+No Newfriends It's a sound clash bro... the winner is the one who hypes the crowd the most... Do you think rodigan or shy fx normally play sampha, gold dust or grime? All of these are wardubs/dubplates... They came to a clash, BBK and ASAP came the same as they do to any regular concert and thats why they got deadded. Stone love had some sick dubplates too but the crowd slept on them cos the crowd was mainly 14 year olds with braces that heard skepta and stormzy once and are then the home counties' junior roadmen

BBK were on form, especially in the first 2 rounds, until Skepta starting getting vexed with everything, but they were caught up in a perfect storm of dubplates from Rebel Sound.
Despite dancing like someone's grandad, you have to admit that Rodigan is an absolute don when it comes to soundclashes. Without him and Shy-FX, Chase and Status would not have won, and not forgetting MC "Listen to the Lyrics" Rage!

I think A$AP Mobb didn't understand what culture clash was. They didn't realize it was like a "diss" thing. They just thought they had to out perform other people. Shit like this doesn't really exist in the US. To be honest I watched partial of rebel sound or whatever that dudes name is. His music was complete shit. He looked like my grandpa trying to dance on stage. A$AP Mobb throws a real show. It gets fucking wild at concerts in the US. That had a huge home court disadvantage. A$AP Mobb doesn't really do that type of stuff.
