Im a bit disappointed that there are no home computer versions, at least Amiga could pull this off.

FM Towns is rather fascinating. Dream machine.
Splatterhouse will always be a firm favourite of mine! I remember my Dad allowing me to rent Splatterhouse 2 all those years ago and it absolutely terrified me! Over the years though, i grew to love not only the horror genre, but also Horror games as well, with Splatterhouse being right up there with the likes of Resident Evil, Silent Hill etc. This franchise really needs a resurgence with some sort of collectors retro pack or HD remake/remastering.

I love the splatter house series. Was so sad when i sold my arcade pcb but they released it in the wii and I had it on PC engine too. Such a great series.
My favorite series. Splatter House 3 is my favorite Mega Drive game.
I actually loved the 3rd one for the Genesis. It's a great game to play around Halloween!
I always found it interesting that they used someone bowling a strike as the headchop sound effect.
I loved Splatterhouse for TG 16 but the FM Towns version looks more polished, Splatterhouse 2 was even better in some aspects, Splatterhouse 3 changed things a bit and wasn't as good as the previous games
Hola Mary. Felicitaciones por el canal!, te sigo desde hace tiempo pero generalmente no comento. Veo muy positivo que aparezcas en los videos. Me gustan mucho las comparaciones entre el mismo juego en diferentes plataformas. Principalmente computadoras de 8bits y obviamente arcades. EL splatterhouse es uno de mis juegos favoritos. Incluso tengo un juego de Android realizado por MI, que es una mezcla de flappy bird con Splatterhouse. :D

It seems that Namco forgot about this and several other franchises.
I could never get on with any Splatterhouse aside from the arcade original and it's PC Engine port. It's a perfect videogame.

Loved the Turbografx version, such a great game.
TG port (version) sounds awful, crap, dreadful, garbage, terrible
except the audio, music, sound in the TurboGrafx version isn’t great

The game felt way to scary no wonder why they tone down the gore and its the first time Namco has made a scary game like this was before the ESRB ratings were introduced and I’m definitely going to finish the game up for Halloween

As a fan of the Splatterhouse trilogy,
the US remake sucks zombie @ss.
It misrepresents everything about Splatterhouse including the way Rick and Jennifer were depicted as two bland and unlikable hipsters.
It also appeals to emo kids instead of horror fans, like Uwe Boll himself directed it.
