I am ordinal Japanese who grew up with Ghibli films and music by Joe Hisaishi. Now, as an adult, I feel that people all over the world love Ghibli's movies and Joe Hisaishi's music, which I feel proves that we all share the same universality as human beings around the world. And I'm very proud of Ghibli and Joe Hisaishi for creating such great works. Great movies and music transcend borders and race.
Hue hue. Chen chenkeing. 😎📯🎼🔔🎚📣🎛🔔🎹🎤📯
Nice! I think so too
Feeling just the same: I'm from Italy and grew up with Studio Ghibli's works, from Future Boy Conan to Castle of Cagliostro, Porco Rosso, Nausicaa, Laputa, Princess Mononoke and the more recent ones such as Howl's moving castle. I cannot deny that these works had a great influence over the man that I have become (for the good and bad XD).
We're really lucky to be in this era Joe Hisaishi exists.
edit: i'm touched by all of you having the same feeling as mine‼︎
(Actually, i'm japanese and sorry for my broken english)
So true, In 20 years people won’t even know what Studio Ghibli is or who Joe Hisaishi is! What a world we will eventually live in!
Yugioh Fanatics why the hell should they forget? We teach our children so that what matters now will matter tomorrow... that’s education!
@@yugiohfanatics4183 That won't happen, great things last forever. And geniuses like Hayao Miyazaki and Joe Hisaishi are never forgotten. If you doubt that, ask Bach.
And Nobuo Uematsu ;)
We are espetially Lucky that hé exists
This is the sequel we wanted, but not the one we deserved
"The sequel's never quite as good"
Joe Hisaishi: hold my piano
Or well, baton might be closer... but otherwise, oh yeah...
Joe Hisaishi: Hold my piano.
Proceeds to pick up baton. XD

To you reading this, never stop learning. Never stop challenging what you believe and what you think. Even if you think you're right. Even if others constantly like what you say. Learn to open your mind. Always be growing as a person.
aw thank you, I also pray the best for you!
It's cool to see how this kind of music opens up people's third eye. Something about listening to this late at night just gives people crazy philosophical thoughts by completely clearing out their mind of other issues...
@@adamsmillie3019 I agree with you. Music in some way expands our ability to communicate in language, words as well. In these chords and notes, a great imagination is weaved.

I hate liars too.
I'm so glad Joe Hisaishi decided to become a composer.
The amount of inspiration I get from him when writing music is unrivaled. THANK you!
You're a talented guy, Robin :)

Hayao Miyazaki and Joe Hisaishi were a big inspiration to me to write. Both of them are master storytellers. :)

I forget sometimes how lucky I am. In an era as chaotic and scary as this one, I'm glad music like this exists :)
We live un era where there's so much around us, but there are still people like Mr. Miyazaki and Mr. Hisaishi, and it's amazing. I feel like I live in times when most wonderful fantasy film creators live. I feel as lucky as you. May the Studio Ghibli be remembered forever, for what it's done.
Ugh, I could listen to that "Symphonic poem NAUSICÄA" all day. People praise Spirited Away, My Neighbor Totoro and Princess Mononoke to the moon and back but nobody ever talks about Nausicäa 😔. It's honestly one of my favorite films from Studio Ghibli, right up there with the other films I've just mentioned.
I'm with you. Its my favourite. It had an old school charm. And the music was composed in a way that reminded me of old fantasy movies. This is probably my favourite piece of music from Ghibli films.
When I first watched Nausicaa I wasn't as impressed as I was so used to the other Ghibli movies like Totoro and Howl. But as I listened to the music from Nausicaa and as more time passed the more I became convinced that Nausicaa is one of the best Ghibli movies with one of the best soundtracks. It's just so timeless, and the images from the movie are still in my mind when I listen to the music.
Hey ! If you enjoyed watching Nausicäa, I would advise you to read the seven volumes of the manga in which the story is much more sophisticated. The movie is great, but the manga is breathtaking !
@@illyreos7764 I've heard great things about the manga and would love to read it! The thing is, I already have a lot of books on the shelf right now that I promised myself I would read this year. I'll probably buy them for myself as a Christmas present though!
The music forever invokes the wild freedom of flying, for me... Wistfulness, grief, joy and delight - almost all at once!!! And hope. At 15:20 just joy....

Uploading this during exams period is so smart UwU
True. This is exactly what I need during exams period. It's stressful as hell in my field (studying physics at university) and his music helps to calm me down and keep me focussed.
haha yeah, i have listened to part 1 8 times or more now, only have one test left to go so prob wont listen this one as often, but its such great music for studying
Lame, my exams were in may. I listened to the songs individually
@@professorgrimm4602 good luck!
depending on my mood and the exam i'm studying for, i listen to either these mesmerizing soul sprinkles or brett's pure rotten hell lofi. both work but i sometimes feel bad for wasting these pieces to study some stupid pathologies lol

Every time I feel overwhelmed while writing a large essay, I listen to Studio Ghibli soundtracks. With every piano key pressed and violin strung, I feel my stress washing away like waves. I think it's because I associate the films with peace and relaxation, which I experienced when watching the films as a child. Thank you Joe Hisaishi for the masterpieces you created.
I swear, same here
Have you ever seen Joe Hisaishi play music at concerts? It's almost like his playing around, and it really shows in his music! I love it! Don't take life so seriously! Have fun!

I was blessed to be able to see Maestro Hisaishi live here about three years ago! I never thought in my whole life, I'd ever get that opportunity! His music has been instrumental in forming the person I grew into.
I wish I could meet him, hug him & say him that how amazing he is, how his art influences me 😍 (Same as Hayao Miyazaki)
YESSS THANK YOU i have been falling asleep to part one for the past month.
The world needs videos of Joe Hisaishi playing all his ghibli pieces as piano solos.
i don't know why but this music makes me feel very emotional. it just made me realise how pathetic my life is. i thought and still think that i'm not going to live past 18. but reading these comments helped me realise there's a future for me beyond this.
there's always a future beyond for you, don' give up and enjoy what you have at this moment!
When we reach rock bottom, make it an inspiration to move up and forward. Instead of thinking "things could be worse", remember that things can always be better. Let's work for the future while enjoying the present 🌻
THANKYOUUU😭😻
