The Four Seasons are such beautiful concerti. Vivaldi was a master of his time, it's a shame he wasn't given the recognition he deserved when he was alive. One of the best Baroque composers of all time imo

During the pandemic lockdown, my dad would turn out to have stage four cancer. And as time progressed, his body started deteriorating to the point he became bed ridden. I would spend the days as a graduating student studying in my parents' room where he stayed. I would study and focus on work with this video and music watching the afternoon sunset through our window. I don't know why this music resonates with me but maybe, perhaps just the way the seasons have a cycle, life too has a cycle. And there I was by my dad's side as this serenaded him and soothed my daily mourning. He passed away 6th July 2021.
When I listen to classical music, my mind is transported to another place, my heart feels nostalgia as if I had lived this time before, that load of emotions is wonderful.
My grandmother has been a professional cellist for over 40 years and now finally at the age of 23 I am finally appreciating such beautiful music and what an amazing craft she had been doing I am now soaking in as much as I can from her ❤️

in 1980 i took one of my first community college courses: Clasic to Moden music. Wow! My WW II instructor walked through 4 aisles of students saying "No Music No Life" and taught us how music is what makes us who we are....civil, happy and polte from Bach to Cage! I was blessed as all of us with a core understandin that with out music we are nothing!

It's been years and years since I've heard the Four Seasons. This was so beautiful, especially the ending of Summer, brought me to tears, oh my goodness. And Spring gave me goosebumps. My dad loved Autumn. When he was in his twenties, he built a violin, now I see why it was his favorite. When I was in my early teens, I remember dancing to Autumn with him in the kitchen (which dancing isn't the easiest to it lol) and standing on his feet as he moved. He's been gone over 3y now, but this piece brought up a great memory. It would be amazing to see them in person!

Since I was a child and heard this piece of Vivaldi's work I have always loved it. I listen to it often. It is my go to music to paint to, when I am sad and need to reflect, when the sun is out and I want to celebrate the Earth. To me, The Four Seasons is all that and more.
terrific work by the Recording Engineer; the acoustics are clean and spotless. Really allows you to hear the resonance in the body of each string instrument and the blend of the orchestra together is very appealing. This terrifically crisp recording clearly conveys the skill of the musicians and pleasingly demonstrates the artistry of the conductor and the orchestra.

I'm playing the third movement, Presto, of Summer next weekend in my orchestra ensemble. Although I've been playing the violin for almost nine years, as a high schooler I'd never thought I get so far as to be playing such a famous piece. I only wish we were playing all of the Seasons, because they are so beautiful. Vivaldi had a truly amazing talent.
We know it is great music when it connects us, heart and soul, through the ages. I am connected across continents, through decades, languages and cultures with anyone else who as listened to this and felt it. I am so grateful.

El violín solista en la misma línea y la interpretación de toda la orquesta muy buena. La calidad del sonido del video también es de agradecer. This expression is by far, in my humble opinion, superior to any I have heard in decades of listening. Back to vinyl LP days! The tempo on all of the four seasons is majestic! I've seen and heard many performances of the seasons over the many years. Many have been ensemble performances. The difference here is we have many more voices and a conductor which is masterfully giving us a tremendous expression of the seasons. Top of my playlist!

When I was a child I would visit my grandparents every summer and my cousins and I would dance around their basement to a cd of The Four Seasons. My cousins took ballet dance classes so they were actually good, but I would dance around wildly and pretend to be a magical forest fae, lol.

I think that vivaldi was a genius in his creation for that time, for me he would be like the rock of his time because he has his moment of speed, silence, gradualness, the person who plays his music enjoys it as much as the one who listens to it, It is a delight to hear in which in any instrument the 4 stations is the best, I love it.

The Four seasons are beautiful and I can really feel the emotion in the pieces! I recently read the poems for these pieces while listening to this and you can really feel it.
In a third world country I grew up bombarded by rock & soft rock music however During my freshman in college God gave me an amazing mind to appreciate classical music and i collected cassette tapes and cd's of classical music. It was an influence by my roommate in dorm. Furthermore I learned that only privilege class, haut monde people, diplomats, noble people will be able to watch and listen this type of music in an opera theatre in their times. I also include Sebastian Bach, Joseph Hydn, Tchaivskosky, Handel etc. God bless us all. To GOD be all the glory!

I used to drive back roads in my Porsche 911. I had this on my iPod and would play it. When it got to the end is Summer I was driving along with the sound. It was awesome. Italian composer, German car… what could go wrong.
I preferred my Jag xk4 for my thrill experience with my favorite classical composers. This selection was often enjoyed. Back roads are perfect but so was the autobahn in my tiny TR3 in the 1960ies …..no speed limit then😊

This is the only time I prefer Winter above all other seasons. Sublime. So beautiful.

It's been years and years since I've heard the Four Seasons. This was so beautiful, especially the ending of Summer, brought me to tears, oh my goodness. And Spring gave me goosebumps. My dad loved Autumn. When he was in his twenties, he built a violin, now I see why it was his favorite. When I was in my early teens, I remember dancing to Autumn with him in the kitchen (which dancing isn't the easiest to it lol) and standing on his feet as he moved. He's been gone over 3y now, but this piece brought up a great memory.
It would be amazing to see them in person!

Música que ha trascendido y trascenderá siglos. Antonio Vivaldi, en sus memorias, describía su música como música tocada por ángeles. En verdad es música celestial. No se equivocó al describirla. Fuerza, melancolía, ternura (entre otros sentimientos y emociones) es lo que su obra revela. Desde que descubrí su música, sueño que algún día yo también trascenderé. El privilegio que me queda es haber escuchado tan noble obra del pensamiento humano.

Vivaldi's '4 seasons' is timeless. It was in my life, and is, and will be, till kingdom come.
Since I was a child and heard this piece of Vivaldi's work I have always loved it. I listen to it often. It is my go to music to paint to, when I am sad and need to reflect, when the sun is out and I want to celebrate the Earth. To me, The Four Seasons is all that and more.
terrific work by the Recording Engineer; the acoustics are clean and spotless. Really allows you to hear the resonance in the body of each string instrument and the blend of the orchestra together is very appealing. This terrifically crisp recording clearly conveys the skill of the musicians and pleasingly demonstrates the artistry of the conductor and the orchestra.

I'm playing the third movement, Presto, of Summer next weekend in my orchestra ensemble. Although I've been playing the violin for almost nine years, as a high schooler I'd never thought I get so far as to be playing such a famous piece. I only wish we were playing all of the Seasons, because they are so beautiful. Vivaldi had a truly amazing talent.

This expression is by far, in my humble opinion, superior to any I have heard in decades of listening. Back to vinyl LP days! The tempo on all of the four seasons is majestic! I've seen and heard many performances of the seasons over the many years. Many have been ensemble performances. The difference here is we have many more voices and a conductor which is masterfully giving us a tremendous expression of the seasons. Top of my playlist!

I too feel fortuitous to be able to utube anything & everything when my fancy strikes. When I hear vivaldi. I to am taken to a place of warm nostalgia. Somewhere else. Perfect excapist music. Hard to believe the 4 seasons is at or near 300 years old. This is beautiful & timeless music.

When I was a child I would visit my grandparents every summer and my cousins and I would dance around their basement to a cd of The Four Seasons. My cousins took ballet dance classes so they were actually good, but I would dance around wildly and pretend to be a magical forest fae, lol.

I think that vivaldi was a genius in his creation for that time, for me he would be like the rock of his time because he has his moment of speed, silence, gradualness, the person who plays his music enjoys it as much as the one who listens to it, It is a delight to hear in which in any instrument the 4 stations is the best, I love it.

The Four seasons are beautiful and I can really feel the emotion in the pieces! I recently read the poems for these pieces while listening to this and you can really feel it.
In a third world country I grew up bombarded by rock & soft rock music however During my freshman in college God gave me an amazing mind to appreciate classical music and i collected cassette tapes and cd's of classical music. It was an influence by my roommate in dorm. Furthermore I learned that only privilege class, haut monde people, diplomats, noble people will be able to watch and listen this type of music in an opera theatre in their times. I also include Sebastian Bach, Joseph Hydn, Tchaivskosky, Handel etc. God bless us all. To GOD be all the glory!

I used to drive back roads in my Porsche 911. I had this on my iPod and would play it. When it got to the end is Summer I was driving along with the sound. It was awesome. Italian composer, German car… what could go wrong.

I preferred my Jag xk4 for my thrill experience with my favorite classical composers. This selection was often enjoyed. Back roads are perfect but so was the autobahn in my tiny TR3 in the 1960ies …..no speed limit then😊
Hands down, my favorite suite of any composer of the time.
