Woodturning | a blackwood hanko stamp handle

I took an uncommon order for a hanko stamp handle. The chosen woods are African blackwood, padouk and claro walnut. The customer will make the rubber stamp himself with his own logo. Blackwood is incredibly hard to turn but so rewarding when you apply the finish.
J'ai reçu une commande peu commune pour une poignée de tampon hanko. Les bois choisis sont l'ébène du Mozambique, le padouk et le noyer européen. Le client fera lui-même son tampon en caoutchouc avec son propre logo. L'ébène du Mozambique est un bois incroyablement dur à tourner mais qui vaut vraiment la peine au moment de la finition.
