Most annoying trainer PopSugar has featured yet. Why isn't she doing anything half the time? And why does she describe the exercise rather than demonstrating it? Seems lazy and it's also really confusing because with her just standing around I'm not sure when we're supposed to be working out and when pausing. Just do it with us!
She seems lovely but the workout felt really rushed and she didn't even do the moves with us. I find that more motivating than the trainer shouting at me. Bit disappointing.
I honestly didn't mind because she was motivating me and giving me a GREAT workout that had me sweating, and then sore the next day. We all work differently
I loooooove how she keeps me motivated during the entire workout! This is what lifting weights is all about, someone pushing you to do the next repetition. It's definitely a sweating exercise!
I love the creativity with this workout and her energy. I do wish she did more of the workouts though. I feel more motivated when the trainer is doing all of it as well.

I guess it was too much talking/hype and not enough cueing... and cueing about good form. I have been exercising for many years I would say if you're a beginner, skip this workout. I actually found the lack of cueing at times to be dangerous because we were swinging the dumbbell around and she had stopped to talk. You can find better workouts out there for 30 minutes.
Just did this work out, and it made me mad as hell! Lmao 🤣 🤣. When you stopped I thought I was suppose to as well. Until you yelled 'keep pushing don't stop". So I just kept going, I thought about just switching to another video. Because you was like "ok now drop down to this but after the third pulse" etc. And seemed fast. But hey I finished! And now sweating like a popsicle on a hot summer day! 🔥 🥵
Out of all the Popsugar workouts I've completed over the years, this is the only time I've been disappointed with. Mercedes seems like a fantastic trainer but I was confused and completely demotivated with her lack of physical involvement and direction. I like to see that the trainer is working as hard or harder than I am and showing me how it's done, especially when I become fatigued. The potential of this workout was lost imo.
It’s not a hard workout and it’s not motivating when at the hardest part of exercises the trainer doesn’t do an exercise herself. It creates an ilussion that the trainer is too lazy herself😅
I wish there would have been other people doing the exercises in the back if the main trainer is stopping to talk that much. I lost a lot of momentum and was thrown off by her just stopping moving entirely
The 30 minutes flew by, I loved her energy and the way she pushed me, and I loved that I got cardio and lifting in at the same time. I hope she makes a 45 minute video that is similar!
Love workouts where trainers are clapping and cheering instead of doing the moves with you. Or workouts where trainers are like okay 3 sets 30 seconds each and in 90 seconds you do as much as you can where I'm only gonna do 5, ready, go!
I was torn about whether or not to like this. The positives: the actual exercises are quite effective and the pace got my heart rate up to a number I normally only get after a much longer workout. So the exercises themselves were great. The negatives: she did not give enough notice of switching exercises. She stopped working out to talk which usually signals the student should stop and listen. It was very confusing. She should have talked while continuing the exercise. Not sure how I feel about this one overall.
this coach is quite noisy , I hate how she was screeming the entire workout as well as she was so bad at copying the workout techniqe I couldn't follow what she was doning.
This was really good. Missed my spin class at gym due to work so did this instead!! I don't even have heavy weights this was hard. Can't imagine with heavy weights. Loved it!!! 😍
Look at your local school district in the next step by using the internet for the next couple weeks before we started working on the job you want to see what you are doing to get your kids out there with your parents in the future for the next step if they are not a real problem

Her forms on some of these exercise movements are bad (knee pushups, rows) shouldn’t a fitness instructor have perfect form to teach others?
She stopped on us! I kept moving and saw her standing and talking. Come on trainer. Do it all with us!
Totally agree! She lost some credibility with me. Her taking breaks doesn't push me. Other trainers do it all with you.

That's what we thought with my husband. Do it all with us. Less talk and more action. Normally we love Popsugar fitness, but this was a letdown.
I miss how the workouts used to be recorded. It was like hanging with friends or in a actual class. 😢💕

When you only do the first exercise and expect us to follow and watch you as you stand there and talk I lose momentum....

Meh. This workout was 85% shoulders and arms. Not much else to it. Not my favorite.
I wished it was a 'full body' workout from the beg as, it just felt like a lot of upper body work for at least 20mins

I love this workout! You never know what's going to come next, which makes it fun and engaging. Popsugar, please add more Mercedes Owens videos!
Way too much talking and yelling. It's ok to explain it and just let people do the exercises. Otherwise it's a decent workout.
